It's been on for a few days - there have been several posts about things in the sale.
#4
Very good deals there... I just spent 125£... thanks!
#5
still the same prices as it was last week from what i can see
#6
They have got Playboy purses for example at 2.92 i know they have been reduced coz i paid a fiver for one two weeks ago :x
#7
I've been shopping with M&M for years i've never seen a Playboy purse that low before:thumbsup:
#8
Yes it is true that some of the items in the sale are the same as they have been, however there will also be many items that are lower - I mean you can't really complain at Fly 53 and Lambretta t-shirts for under £8.
Only prob is knowing when to stop hitting the buy button!

I have shopped with these a few times recently and think they are a great company (good products and good prices and very speedy delivery)
#18
I would not buy from M&M. They allow you to add to your basket, take your order and then cancel because they do not have stock. My son was very disappointed when they cancelled his football boot order.

M&M are great. My girlfriend and I have been using them for a couple of years with no problems at all. As someone else said, very quick delivery too.

But honestly guys, Playboy purses and brollies?? Must you?
#20
I haven't been on their site yet and Playboy purse, brolley etc is not really encouraging me to visit. Anyone spotted any real bargains?
#21
Actually just had a look and searched on hiking shoes. Karrimors that I might be interested in are exactly the same price as Amazon so not such a great saving after all!!

I bought from mmdirect about a year ago. The order was mainly trainers. One pair fell apart putting them on so didn't bother trying the identical pair. Two other pairs I ordered mentioned that the size wasn't very generous and that I should allow one size up when ordering which I did. I still couldn't get them on. I returned the items and not only did I not get my postage refunded but I only got a partial refund. I complained numerous times but no joy. I absolutely hate this company, no customer service at all. Absolute thieves. The loss was about £30 to me in total. Not only that but I've asked numerous times for them to stop sending brochures and putting me on their email promotion lists but they never stop sending. Not that I care that much about that but its wasted paper and postage on their part. I seem to get some satisfaction from chucking it into the bin. One of the few companies I don't touch with a barge pole whatever the price. I know these things are the luck of the draw though as many people don't have issues and I myself have dealt with other companies with known appalling customer service and not had problems myself. Lets just say there is the possibility of outright theft and appalling customer service with this company though.

you sound so sexy. do you have a playboy pillow and bedspread too?
#24
I have ordered from M&M Direct 4 times in the past & returned something once.
I have never had any problems at all - they always deliver quickly & when I returned something (because it was too big) I even got a postage refund.

You're not that keen then?

No problems from me with M&M in the past and I have ordered from them several times.
Warm from me on this one though - all the items I've looked at have been at this reduced sale price for ages now.

Don't you think that maybe someone else added the boots to their shopping basket at the same time as you, and by the time you'd completed your order, they'd already completed theirs? Or perhaps, as they buy in bulk, when it came to picking, the boots weren't upto standard, so rather than sending you something you'd only return straight away, they refunded you?

Making such a harsh judgement on just one experience is a bit foolish. Just a thought.

Its beyond me why some people have to be so petty about what other people buy, sweeping generalisations abound.

Who said the Playboy items were for me AND if they were, what business is it of anyone elses what i buy.

Some weird people post on here.
#29
I have always found their customer services very helpful, why did you only get a partial refund, seems strange.

I don't know how others go about it,but with regards to postage i weigh the item before taking it to the PO so i know what i will be charged and then i write on the returns note that postage is to be refunded for x amount,i've never had a problem yet,you must have been unlucky.

You're hardly in a position to talk,as you're a buyer of Fenchurch, thats hardly "up there" in the chic stakes is it.

You're rather disrespectful, your Mother must be so proud.
#32
why do women wear stuff from a p*rn mag
#33
I think the generalisation thing has its roots in the law of association. You see one thing and think of another. So you hear playboy and think, sexy, bunny girl, hefner, porn etc. It's how branding/imaging works. And to be honest I think sexy rather than quality and reliability, when I see, hear playboy.

Just my tuppence.
#34
Here's me singing M& M's praises and i've just got an out of stock email for the hot wheels cars for my nephew,i'm not surprised really, others were ordering them by the dozen:w00t:

lol, always wondered this myself. For centuries women across the world have fought for equalities such as the right to vote and own property. I'm guessing the right to adorn themselves with emblems from jazz mags was slightly lower down their list of priorities.

On the sale, I think it's not too bad, I scored 4 pairs of jeans, 2 T-Shirts, 2 Hoodies, a belt, hat and wallet for under £110 delivered. Some reasonable brands too, inc Timberland & Rockport. I realise that some of the stuff may either be out of stock when it comes to picking, or may not fit properly and need sending back, as this is the nature of ordering items over the internet. Also, i'm sure i'll be able to cope with any disappointment if this is the case, and won't think to **** off the company in future threads pointing out some more great deals...
