It says Your order does not meet the criteria for this offer. with code. shame. thanks anyway.
Speakers sound real weird so turn treble down to 35 and bass to 100 ;)
Noise reduction on high gives a real nice pic on freeview.
2 year warranty as well :D
surprisingly thin considering the built in dvd player and for the money a slot disc loader ...not even my xbox 360 slim has that, they could have tacked on a bog standard noisy extruding disc tray so good.
the component input is via mini Y Pb Pr splitter, picture was rather soft on the xbox360 and I'm no techie but there is probably a degradation however minor from HDMI to direct component HD to component via mini component, took the noise reduction high on the custom setting with tweaked sharpness/contrast improved things cos the default P.modes were off in colour saturation
unfortunately it has a dead pixel, not the worst thing in the world but oddly it's a red glowing pixel rather centrally placed which means it's visible all the time (unlike if it was a white pixel) no idea how it works but expected dead pixels to be white or is that an LCD/PLASMA/LED variance thing ...just about to call M&S support, if it's a hassle I might just keep it as I had to go for dedicated delivery to get it on saturyday (must be signed for) wanted the TV for my brother's present later this week to go with his xbox360 (I was going to either put black decals cut to fit or spray paint and gloss it while keeping the central top side red bar from the union flag for effect.
if not for the dead pixels it would be a winner for me either for a kids room, or in my brothers case a PC/xbox 360 bedroom set up, if you are handy with a can of black paint (£1.99 online) the colours can be sorted in 5 minutes flat. slip a few A4's over the screen surface and under the bezel, tape secure, cover the back as over spray can curl back behind the unit ...vents etc - go crazy
