This has been on offer before but is back. Surprised it hasn't been put back on here (at least I couldn't find it).

25% off when you buy 6 bottles of wine/cava etc.

But there is Cava on offer at 2 for £10* (£7.49 for 1) and wine at 3 for £10 (£3.99 for 1) but the 25% is taken off the full price giving you a real discount of more than 25%.

(taken from previous deal info - from trickyjabs)

6 bottles of Cava (Brut / Medium Dry) @ £7.49 = £44.94
Less 25% = - £11.22
Less 2 for £10 = - £4.98
Less 2 for £10 = - £4.98
Less 2 for £10 = - £4.98

TOTAL TO PAY = £18.78 (£3.16 per bottle)

6 bottles Vina Ulmo Sauvignon Blanc @ £3.99 = £23.94
[Edit : Las Falleras no longer on the 3 for £10 offer as of 1.12.09 - was on 30.11.09]
Less 25% = - £5.98
Less 3 for £10 = - £1.97
Less 3 for £10 = - £1.97

Total to pay = £14.02 (£2.34 a bottle)

In store only to obtain the 'extra' multibuy discount (as there are no multibuys online). Normal 25% off available online.

There may be other wines in the offer but these were the 2 on "3 for £10" I saw tonight.

Don't mix and match the 6 bottles though e.g. don't get 2 Vina Ulmo and 4 Las Falleras - I tried and it doesn't work. 3 of each would be okay though.

One week only

* Thanks to stamfordblue for correctin a typo.

#3
How do you get the 25% off, does it just come off automatically?
#4
I'd guess i'ts the till doing all the work when they put them through! They are usually programmed in, you just smile, pay & go!!

Yes - it's taken off at the till - as long as you buy in multiples of 6 it's 25% off all wine and champagne (which includes Cava).

You can get the 25% off if you buy online but the point is when you buy instore if you buy wine/champagne which is on offer (e.g. 3 for £10 or 2 for £10) it takes the 25% off the full price, not the discounted price so you are getting more than 25% off thus making it an even better deal.

A HUGE deal....very hot....great find!
#7
I hope the rose' cava is on offer again! :-D .. hot!!
#8
i hope this isn't rose cave ! ewww :-)
#9
Very detailed, informative post. Thanks

thanks :)

You can do it online and get 10% quidco, that must bring it close to the store price.

£40.50 for 12 bottles = £3.33 per bottle, then if quidco pays out £3.03 per bottle?
#12
fantastic - got 12 of these the other week!!
(have only managed to have 1 so far!)
#13
About the Cava...if it's 2 for £5, then surely that's 6 for £15, not £18.78 ?

Think I see what you've done, as it should be 2 for £10 in your post.Needs amending :)
Good deals.

^^^^^^^^ What they said.

Surely if its s bottles for £5, then 6 bottles for £18.78 is not right ?
#15
trip to m&s again me thinks...
#16
Cava is 2 for £10 and rose cava is 2 for £12 bought yesterday, but it still comes to the same amount

I bought
2 X Cava £7.49 each or 2 for £10
4 x Asti £6.99 each or 2 for £10

All for a grand total of £19.26
They take 25% off original price not multi deal :w00t:
#17
Great deal, shall go and seek out any bottles of red tomorrow. :-D
#18
Managed to get 36 bottles yesterday, a mix of red, white and rose wine

Thanks for that. Was under the influence of wine when I was typing! Corrected the original post.

True if you want the dry cava and you want 12 bottles of it - but the medium dry online is £45 for 12. You can mix and match (providing you stick to the bottles within the offer e.g. 3 falleras, 2 cava, 3 vina ulmo) in store plus you only need to buy 6. But yes - saves you going into store and lugging 12/24/36 bottles to your car if you want the dry cava.

Brilliant bargain just got back with 6 bottles of medium dry cava for £18.78. Might have to pop back later for 6 more:)
#22
Woop, thanks for this. Trip to M&S this evening.

How are the wines? I need to buy some wine for our wedding. I imagine they are pretty everyday at that price. A little tasting I think.
#24
Anyone know how much Oudinot Rose Champagne is normally, thought it well over £20, seems a bargain at £72 for 6 bottles.

There was a bad review on the M&S site for Las Falleras and it meant last time it was on offer online I only bought one box. The review seems to have been removed and now there are only 3 good ones...

My girlfriend and I like this white wine but we are no experts. As one review says I find it an easy drinking wine. However, it may not look grand enough a bottle for a wedding - depends on your wedding I guess.

Haven't tried the Vina Ulmo yet.

Red review here ... looks like a light red.

Just picked up 6 bottles Prestige Dry Cava for £18.78! Thanks for the heads up.

Can't wait til Xmas.....well......probably won't wait til Xmas......POP!!

:p
#27
Yay!! Have been waiting for this!!

Fantastic. Had a Christmas party on Saturday and got cleaned out of 2 cases. Perfect timing to restock!

It may come down to personal preference, but the Brut Cava is much better than the Dry. All of us at the party preferred the Brut hands down. However, if you're stepping things up and doing Champagne Red Bull, either would be fine.

:santa:

The dry one is nicer IMO. Anyway the cava is a bargain at £3 a bottle would be cheap at a fiver. We still have 2 cases of this from the last time it was on offer plus a couple of cases on Lanson from the sainsburys £14 a bottle deal so we have plenty really.

Shows how much I know - I thought that Brut was the Dry! I bought Medium Dry and Brut. I didn't see a dry.

bagged!
Thanks

Just a word of caution. My girlfriend went in today and asked if the Las Falleras was 3 for £10 - they went away and checked and told her it wasn't. I'll check again tonight but maybe it was a change over of promotions and the computers weren't updated yesterday. Hope not though and that it was just the staff being lazy or mistaken.
#34
I got this last month when the offer was on. I only wished I'd parked my car closer as 6 bottles of the stuff is pretty heavy. The signs are pretty good in M&S so just double check the offers in store. I think the '25% off 6 bottles' sign was hanging from the ceiling and the '2 for £10' sign was on the shelf next to the bottles in question. Pretty straight forward really :santa:
Merry Merry (hic!) Christmas everyone :p
#35
I might be missing something but I think there's only the 25% offer on now? I can't see anything on the site about 2 for £10?
#36
So they're selling Brut, Dry and Medium Dry varieties??? And Rosé?

Also interested to hear more opinions on how it tastes - like the last thread, lots of people seem to be stockpiling it, very few describing how it tastes... what are you all doing, using it to pretend to be F1 drivers?

Now, there's an idea...
#37
2 for £10 is instore only I think. Las Falleras was not on 3 for £10 when I went to Marks today.
#38
I got some of the Prestige Brut cava last time...its ok and drinkable, but to be honest it not really worth much more than £3 - £4 (very large bubbles when compared to a decent champagne or Australian sparkling like Lindauer.)

I agree. At full price, it would be disappointing, at £3 a bottle, it is a sometimes alternative.

Hi...Aintree (Liverpool) has no Prestige Brut Cava left .......

But they had lots of the Rose left ..which was scanning at £24.01 for 6 instead of £47.94....
