Thanks for pointing me to the M&S site they have some great deals on the Royal Jelly sets too at 50% off price shown! Is there a free delivery code at all?
#2
looking myself none as yet but someone bound to find one soon
1 Like #3
I used this code: PERWEB02 and got free delivery may work on your deal too, try it.
#4
It's free delivery anyway I just ordered one.
#5
Couldn't find any active M&S codes but have ordered this hamper for some friends. Cheers.

3% Quidco btw should net a massive £1.12 back!

Might be worth mentioning that although the op mentions that the discount comes off at checkout it does take a few stages of the process before the discount is shown - but it does eventually get taken off the total.

I think £75 as the original asking price was a bit ambitious :)

The code I used worked for free delivery but I ordered something else from the Royal Jelly stuff so good if you're not ordering the hamper, got £32 worth of stuff for £16 more presents sorted.

hamper is barely worth £25 let alone £35, as for £75 lol
#8
Like cambourne03 says above I think it's free delivery anyway so no need for a code on the hamper... certainly no delivery charge on my order :)
#9
Great for posting so soon! This offer will sell well. Great to send to Grand-Parents, Parents, etc... delivered with a gift card..great price! Just ordered one!

welcome to M&S, you pay a premium for the name, its nothing new! However if youre giving these as gifts most people do appreciate the "value" (not worth!) of M&S goods!

Impressive. We had to wait until post 7 until this kind of comment came up. Next week on Hot UK Deals an exclusive with Jeremy Clarkson why people shouldn't sell their 250 thousand pound semi detached houses in the suburbs just to buy a Lamborghini Gallardo.

Here's my guess at pricing;

Comes in a small wicker picnic basket £15
Prestige cava brut (75cl) £7.99 (pricey)
Classic recipe holly bunch top-iced cake (907g) £5
Classic recipe Christmas pudding (454g) £4
Christmas conserve (340g) £2
Christmas tea (40 tea bags) £2
Christmas coffee (227g) £3
Christmas chutney (310g) £2
Brandy butter (195g) £2
Family biscuits for tea (500g) £5
Chocolate selection (400g) £5
Large chocolate coin (26g) £1

Makes £54. Granted some of these items may crop up in M&S Deals of the week at half price, but they usually overprice so my guesstimate is using the true likely available price.

Even if I'm 20% wrong, it's still good value, but was poor value at £75.

They do this every year, it's a clear marketing tactic (that works well so it seems).

Thanks for that - I agree it was overpriced at £75 but now makes a great gift for someone, especially if you were running out of ideas of what to get someone, I would be very happy if someone got me this:)
There are also a few others available so if this is not to your liking you may find something else.

Just ordered one for my parents, great gift thanks

Me too, of course I've phoned to tell them and they're really over the moon. Great find OP thanks!!!
#21
Thanks OP..

With one swift deal I've now finished my christmas shopping! :)
#22
Does not work for me? On the page where I should hit the place order button they still wanna charge me £75, what am I doing wrong?
#23
Watch out I've been done by this as well. Coming up at £75 no matter what I do. Trying to cancel the order now and doesn't respond to me and after calling up M&S they say they know nothing about the order. If you're going to go for this watch out. You may also be able to get the discount by calling up their hamper order line which would be a lot safer than the website.

Still though great offer if you can get it :)
#24
Yes - I have just tried it again and it is still coming up as £75 for me. I ordered one this morning and have just checked the price it was def. half price and I only paid £37.50 this morning including delivery. Maybe they are out of stock now.:(
#25
That is a shame, so the discount should turn up immediately before hitting the place order button ;).
Or will the discount be applied after paying?

Hopefully it will be back on again in some minutes!

Sold out (or full price). Good M&S marketing scam.

They have a similar one called Festive Favourites for £40.
#30
Disgusting! Since when did the 'day' from 'deal of the day' end at 2pm? These are still in stock just not half price! That stinks.
#31
have to agree, its very shoddy indeed to have a deal of the day then say its unavailable other than at full price

In fact, Id question if thats even legal given there is no suggesting Deal Of The Day is limited quantity (or is there?)

Where is it available at full price? I can't find it on the website.

It was when I made the comment, at least theyve rectified the "anomoly" although the cynic in me suspects they will miraculously find more stock pretty soon ;)
#34
Just ordered! Hope they honour it as I had one in my basket but had to call the wife to make sure
#35
I just called & they honoured my order. Good show M&S!
#36

#37
