Yes, there used to be mince meat in them (before my time) which is why they still have the same name.

You probably know Icelands luxury ones won this years best Mince Pie award (2nd Year running) Lidls Luxury ones are slightly cheaper and almost as nice.

Any recommendations for some mince pies that aren't made with 'all butter/butter rich' pastry?. I just find them too sickly.
