M&S sticky toffee pudding is to die for! I still have 2 bottles of wine in the fridge from the last time but it will all come in handy at Christmas no doubt.

Heat & Rep added!

Is there a voucher that needs printing or something?? don't know how to get the deal :(
#8

You just go into the shop and pick 1 item from each of the 4 categories (main, side, desert, wine) and it will automatcally reduce the total for the items to £10. Usually you'll get a saving of between £5 and £10 depending on what items you buy.

Just go to Marks & Spencer, there's nothing special to it.
#11
brill, thanks for the quick reply!
#12
Mmmm looks good, will pay a visit on Friday I think.
#13
Normally sold out in the first hour, very difficult to get any choice.
#14
does anyone else think this offer is not as good as it was - the wine is cheaper, the food on offer is not quite as good value and there is less choice all round. Certainly in our local store the offer is not what it was -0h the good old days!!
#15
In that case I might go first thing tomorrow morning :p
#16
i live for these

When is this available from? Says 'this weekend' in the OPs title

Are all these clearly marked or put in seperate location in store? I don't want to be memorising what's in the deal and what isn't.
#18
all the goods are usually in their own refrigerator, and clearly marked with black dine in for two stickers.
was hoping to see the cheese selection on the desert menu, as I don't have a sweet tooth :(

If the "medium" chickens are anything like last time you can still feed a family of five quite comfortably with the larger ones.

mmm , a whole bird .... we have some really nice ones working at our local m&s , if this is part of the deal i'll be first in line !! Just a bit sceptical about the bit that states 'medium' bird , does this refer to 'looks' or dress size do you think ??

voted hot btw , cracking deal !

M & S can kiss my a s s

Went into to have a look for the meal deal on the weekend
and waited patiently to ask an assistant about the deal - who was helping another
shopper.
I waited until they parted as they were literally walking in different
directions and said "excuse me could you tell me...."
I didn't even get all my question out when the little female Hitler whipped
around with the old "talk to the hand" stance - and belched
"Excuse me sir I am still dealing with a customer - please wait until
I have time to deal with you"
You had to be there to see the look on her face and hear how it came out !
even the other shopper was shocked.

Talk about trumped up nobodies !
I heard years ago M&S assistants think they are the retail equivalent of
air hostesses ( everybody knows what they act like !)
now I know its true.

Must have been because I did not have a purple rinse and look like Mrs Bouquet !

They can shove their deal - you know where :viking:

I think that 'sold out in the first hour' is somewhat of an exaggeration. I've been in at lunch time and maybe one or two of the items have sold out.

If anyone has an M&S card and has a 10% off food voucher then using it against this promotion takes 10% off the full price (pre-discount) so if you are having the most expensive items from the offer then your meal comes in at a shade over £8 (i.e. the more expensive the items you choose the cheaper your meal)
#33
Are they having another 20% sale tomorrow?

maybe they will join them together before Xmas/

Aren't they the sort that parents pay £10k-£15k per year independent school fees to get their daughters trained up in assertiveness, leadership skills, confidence, always in control, charisma, command, authority, challenge....
however 99.9% of M&S staff are very very good........you always get the odd 0.1% but that can happen in any shop.

I went this morning spent 30 and saved £27. Got three really big medium chickens (they were over £8 each) but they did only have small on display, a lovely lady was also buying the deals and asked about medium chickens and they brought out pallets of them and so I got my three big ones and so did the lady with me but then after we had got ours instead of putting some medium ones out they wheeled them back out the back of the shop. I told the lady who was in the que next to me that medium were included as she had a weeny small one and I don't think the shop assistant was best pleased she had to go out the back for another medium but I just don't understand why they were hiding them away. They had lots of them. Anyway I am well pleased with my bargains, I got the roasted veg, sticky toffee puds and cava. Will feed my family of 5 well. Thanks OP.
#36
I got a £8 chicken, profiteroles, roast veg and Cava for one and for the 2nd
Fish and chips, green veg medley, sticky toffee pud and another cava.

Total before discount £38
total to pay £20

Thank you M&S

Quite unbelievable comment, from a personal point of view I hope you receive nothing but bad service in any shop you visit in the future after such a ridiculous comment.
#38
Absolutely tremendous!
#39
They had loads of small chickens as you enter the store while quite a few medium ones at the back on the same deal. Shop around for the largest you can find, mine was priced up at £7.59 while there was others around the £4 mark.

Went for the chicken,
Ceaser vege's (look tasty)
Melt in the middle choccie thing
And a bottle of red plonk

May go for another deal tomorrow.

I was thinking the same, how good a deal is this if you don't drink wine. Even with the wine if you add up the price of the contents you are only saving £3 maximum. Not a great deal really.
