Wow, I don't think their cheapest sandwich is less than £2! Makes the Boots meal deal (buy 6 get the 5th free) less attractive now...
#5
Definitely hot from me. Just need to remember next day I'm in town.

Well you could go to a lidl or even a bakery and get more for less - that is apparently the criteria for voting deals hot or not.
#7
Top deal. M&S sarnies are the best!
#8
its not any sandwich - the labels in store show a list in very small text
#9
London stores also?
#10
If anyone knows whats included could you please list on here:thumbsup:

Could well be, i didn't buy it or look that closely, just saw a crowd of people crowded by the sarnies and a big sign above the counter.

Anyone know which sarnies are included?
#12
Bargain! - This will save me £5 a week if available at my local store
#13
From memory:

Ham and Mustard
Tuna and Sweetcorn
Tomato Sausage Pasta
Prawn Mayonaise

They had the sundried tomatoes and feta cheese pasta salad in the display unit but not too sure if it was included as it was not marked/stickered. Some others that I can't remember. I'm sure there was a veggie option but I was just looking at the ones that I would eat!

Looked like most of the handcooked crisps were part of the deal.

It's the lower price ranged sandwiches that are included in the deal so saying 'any sandwich' is actually quite misleading. And yes, it was available in the London store that I go to.

I saved 61p. Bargain!

Quite good in that I was setting my lunch budget to £10 a week and with this deal, it is actually possible.

Now I wonder if these prices will be in M&S Food stores aka at Stations etc..?
#22
Good deal, but can someone actually list the choice of sandwiches, crisps and drinks? Thanks!
#23
Just got this deal, had the handcooked lightly salted crisps, tuna & sweetcorn sandwich and 500ml lemon & lime still water. Bargain at £2, better yet that it was free when I used M&S credit card vouchers!

Read this........................ then be a good troll and go away..............

http://www.farminguk.com/news/Marks-and-Spencer-Most-compassionate-supermarket4945.asp

Your post also flies in the face of a recent response of yours to someone who voted a " £2 chicken " thread.....

Your response being....

"The deals seem to be heaven sent for those wishing to point out the flaws in others' lives in an attempt to elevate themselves in some way. That's not necessarily wrong for someone to do and people are free to liv as they wish.

But living as we do in this country, it seems a bit myopic to preach (in the nicest possible way) about the welfare of chickens and other animals in an attempt to cleanse one's conscience. I'm sure we're all 'guilty' of compromising our beliefs or morals in some way.

But concern over a (soon to be slaughtered) chicken's living conditions is a sure sign of a society that has reached a point of running out of really important things to worry about.

None of us are innocent of sanctioning things that may be seen as reprehensible by some, be it by purchasing something made in a sweatshop or in a country that breaches human rights.

But making a judgment about someone because they quite rightly think a £2 chicken is a hot deal is a dangerous path to tread without wanting to look ever so slightly decadent and hypocritical.

Hot Deal! "

Just proves what a troll you are....... posting negative comments for the sake of it!! Not what this forum is meant for.....

I feel sorry for the bread. Burnt alive, stabbed, smeared, suffocated, swallowed, digested in acid.

I bet you're saying to yourself 'Crumbs! I never thought of it like that'.

Vegetarian's delight...

Neglecting whether you're vegetarian or not, it doesn't really make economic sense for all the meat products to be cheaper.
