Yes, poor form from M&S to not have any vege main option. Will stick with Waitrose and Tesco.

Lovely job op thanks

The Hunters Chicken and the Chicken/Leek/Bacon are good quality chicken breasts (2 of them) which cook very nicely in the oven. I serve them with steamed veg and then keep the croquettes (my choice of side) for another time. The cherry sponges and cheesecake are both excellent.

Regularly get these and can't fault them!

I would disagree. I used to hate M&S and their bloated prices but the more I have compared (ready meals and bakery products) I have regularly found that M&S products taste far better than cheaper products from other stores and frequently even expensive stuff from waitrose.

If this is anything like the frozen meal deal, it's hardly healthy!

The cheek of M&S to charge extra for preparing it for you! I would write an angry letter.

If you can get 2 fresh chicken breasts, prepare and make the sauce, six potato croquettes plus two sponge desserts with the cherry and blueberry sauce (or 2 slices of cheesecake) for £3 I take my hat off to you :)

Disagree all you want,there was a time when Marks food was well ahead of most. It's standard is even behind the likes of Aldi nowadays,yet somehow still way way more expensive. There food is pre packed rubbish.

Totally agree with this. As an ex-M&S food shopper, it became clear to me that their quality was on a downward spiral, and no longer justified the premiums they charge. I initially switched to Aldi for fresh meat, fruit and veg (their premium steaks are better than M&S' imo) but have gradually increased purchases from there as they have increased their premium ranges.:{

Maybe (Aldi is excellent) but certainly not in Iceland territory as suggested by blue1971. A bit of balance is needed in these comments.

If I cooked it from scratch you wouldn't want to eat it!
