That's a good deal...Better than the one posted earlier...You can get it a little bit cheaper with quidco...

3% for dixons...about £20
#2
Good deal, much better than the rubbish spec one posted earlier.

So, what does ppl think... Its 225gbp cheaper than the latest Macbook Pro... but its specs are very much the same... I know Sandybridge processors are better but how much difference are you going to notice compared to this one? Moreover, the Nvidia 320M is some cases better than the internal Intel HD 3000 that comes with the new one... which one would you guys go for?
#4
Anyone know if Apple offer student discounts on the refurb store?

id pressume (probably incorrectly) it was even a slightly newer model, thought the 2.4's were in part of the 2010 series but that could be a load of balogne on my part, i dont really know much about about the macbook range

EDIT: a quick google this might well be a late 2008 tbh.. so maybe older.. still better spec.. im just gna compare the cpu's

EDIT: Not a lot between them this one is marginally better

Or go for the 5% available at TCB, which will bring this down to £641.25. This a great deal, and much better than the one I posted.

The Apple Care should be still running even if you've left school.
#16
Thanks for that, just spoke to Apple sales and told them about me pondering this vs new apple deal and they said I should for the new one as its 3x faster and about the same speed as the old 17" pro's :|
