Just popped into Regent Street, and Apple are selling off old Macbook Pros for £1099 (2.4ghz) and £1249 (2.6ghz).

Could be a good deal, especially for someone who wants a proper (matte) screen and dedicated firewire 400 port. Quite a few people were snapping them up for these reasons alone, so may not be around too long.

Yeah I agree good price for those features in a pro laptop. The matte screen will be highly desirable by people linked to the print industry.

The new gloss MBP screen is all good but the fact Apple don't let you choose a matte option is not a step forward. It's a step backwards.

People voting cold are the types of people who have no idea. People who buy the PC World deal of the week £399 laptop, and think they got a bargain. lol

Does anyone know if this deal still ongoing? Im planning to buy a macbook pro as my one died on me and warranty doesnt cover it as its liquid damaged!!! Yes, guess how im feeling.

I didnt like the new macbook pros with black colours!. They look even slimmer which make me scared.

If anyone knows the deal is still going on, pls let me know so i can go and grab one asap. £1400 is quite too much considering my old macbook is only 10 months old!!!!
