Click the link to get a FREE iTrip and 10 issues of MacUser for £10.

MacUser usually costs £3.95 in the shops, but you could receive 10 issues for just £10 if you take up this offer! PLUS youll get an iTrip unit absolutely free!

Connect your iPod to your car radio with the iTrip unit (worth £30!)

The iTrip plugs into the dock connection socket of the iPod and converts the audio output into an FM radio signal, which can then be picked up by appliances such as car radios and stereos.

No batteries required.

A convenient switch on the side of the iTrip makes it a breeze to select a broadcast frequency.

iTrip's DX Mode delivers a background noise level below that of a cassette tape adapter, allowing the music to punch through cleanly.

MacUser is published fortnightly and is packed with extensive reviews of new hardware and software, the latest industry news, expert comment, tricks of the trade and much more.

After you have received your 10 issues, you can cancel the subscription with no obligation or you have the option to continue to subscribe to future issues and save 24% off the cover price.

This offer replaces the previous October offer. You can find out more about what other people thought of the previous offer by visiting this post: http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104274&highlight=macuser+itrip

Glad you liked it, but as the previous post expired, this is the latest offer.

Hot. Great deal for the magazine although you can get the iTrip for much less than £30. I got one on the last £1 deal and will use it once I buy a Classic 160GB.

This offer is also available over the phone. Telephone MacUser subscriptions on 0844 844 0063, quoting offer code N0712XPOS. Or visit the deal link in the original post.

Worth £30? I bought one a few weeks ago for £7.99.
#5

#6

That's daft reasoning for voting cold. It's not about comparing one offer against another offer from months ago. Or has every deal got to beat every previous one now!

Voted hot - because Mac User is a good mag easily worth £1 per issue and it's the best offer available NOW.

Was it an actual i trip? Or a cra**y assed Generic FM transmiter though.

Yes, it was a proper Griffin iTrip :)

EDIT - reading again I think you might have been referring to simate's post above. Sorry!

Yes it was the genuine article.

That's the most stupid thing I've ever heard.

Can you still get it for that price? No.

Is this offer a lot cheaper than the cover price WITH a free gift? Yes.

It's hot.
#12
another great offer, must have upped the prices since the last promotion hehe.

I also got the 3 for £3 and free itrip lst time round. Found the mag not really intresting though.

voted hot still.

I got the last deal too and the itrip arrived before the magazine did. Great little thing it is, well worth it if your car doesnt have facility for an ipod!!! As for the magazine, it isnt the best mac magazine out there but informative all the same. This is still a hot deal

I prefered last months. 3 issues for £1 and the free itrip.
And yes it does work, I got mine.

same here mate :whistling:

I remember the previous deal too and almost signed up. I think what stopped me was not having bank details, sort code etc handy.

10 Issues is well worth it. I'll do it this time.

Just bought an 20" iMac from PCWorld using Quidco and their own 5% code, saving me over £70 so this is a great deal in my eyes.

Just signed up.
#18
Dose anyone know if 'this' ITrip will work with the Iphone? Because I have one for my old Ipod but the connector is through the audio link and not through the long Power link at the bottom! and hence asking

I hope you price matched it with amazon first as pc world will price match amazon or play which are cheaper then use your vouchers etc! I did this for daughter as christmas! same with software ie iwork

I'm definitely not a Mac user but this is a great deal for those genuinely interested in the magazine and not just trying to blag an iTrip!
#21
As others have said, don't get hung up on the supposed merits of the iTrip. Small FM transmitters are not hard to make and there are very many generic devices out there for less than a fiver.
#22
Think this has expired, as says page cannot be found.
#23
If you want to use your MP3 player with a (car) radio, and you're not worried about the brand name, there are plenty of alternatives to choose from starting at less than a fiver all inc. They'll probably arrive more quickly than the magazine offer too!
#24
I can't see it either
#25
link is not working any more
#26
So are MACs any good compared to proper pcs?

Once you've used a mac zarguio there is no going back....I swore by pc's and always argued they were great until about 7 years ago when I began using a mac, so much easier to use, dont breakdown as much, less inclined to get viruses etc....

I switched and I mean switched ie no Windows in sight about 4 months ago, I LOVE IT, and I do not want to go back, if your not sure go find some podcasts loads out there and all free, tons of stuff, if your thinking of getting a new home PC give it some serious thought.

Unless you're a huge PC hardware/games enthusiast there's no real reason not to go Mac, other than perhaps cost and upgradeability reasons.

Not a lot of games are released on Mac and obviously the latest graphics cards can't just be shoved in a Mac because of compatibility issues and software/driver restrictions etc.

For me? I don't really play games but I'd never have a computer I didn't build myself, unless it was a laptop (and I rarely use mine). I like being able to upgrade it easily and I also run fanless (yep, not a single case fan, heatsink fan and it's a semi-passive PSU, too).
