Mad Catz have made creating hideously ugly peripherals an art-form. Back in the 90's their stuff looked generic and tacky, now they look sharp and menacing... But so ugly!

Anyhow, heat added for a great price reduction.

Have you used one of these? It may be hideous to look at but sits perfectly in the hand.

Mine just recently packed in on me (left mouse button).

Heat added.

No I haven't used one, absolutely no use to me as it relies on drivers but they don't support Linux users. Besides, I wasn't commenting on its ergonomics, just the style of their peripherals in general.

Looks like it's transforming :)

I think you are taking it a little too seriously when your mouse looks like this.

Nice mouse but a Razer Deathadder is less than this, and there's a reason why all the top CS players use the Razer.

Not sure what I have that this will go with hmm the wife hang bag per chance

Along with the Mionix Naos 8200 which was available for slightly less yesterday, this is the only mouse I have ever used which sits comfortably in my hand. The ubiquitous Razer Deathadder is in my opinion the only good peripheral Razer have ever made, but it just doesn't feel comfortable for me due to my large hands (I am 6ft6 with appropriately sized hands)

The thing this mouse and the Mionix do really well, is provide a pinky rest to stop your pinky trailing on the surface. It really makes it feel a lot more comfortable. The advantage of the RAT is that it is fully adjustable in length and there are additional attachments for the sides so you can set it up however you like.

It's the best mouse I've ever owned, well worth £50 of anyone's money.

Have to say, looks like I may be the odd one out but for FPS games I really disliked the model below this one. (near enough same shape)

Grip felt wayy too wide and heavy even with weights off.

Everythibg else its great

If your spending this much on a mouse best to make sure your getting one with a fit you like and not just ignore it!
