I've got this one, works great:

http://www.thehut.com/games/games-accessories/wii-drop-n-charge-kit/10064161.html

Its £14.73 from thehut.com - out of stock at the moment, I've had mine for a few months and works fine, charges via mini-USB and comes with mains and mini USB > USB cables. Just stick it on the mat and it charges, silicon cover and all. Extra batteries are around £7.

Looks good. But as you say OOS. Also, you get a 2yr warranty with the madcatz one.

I cant beleive how long this technology has taken to catch on .. Eppendorf have made lab pipettes using inductive charging for about 18 or more years.

Toothbrushes have been charging like this for a while too. It is a great idea, but how long before some nut claims to be sensitive to the radiation from it?
