Super Street Fighter 4 Tournament Edition S Fightstick (Black)

Designed for the serious Street Fighter enthusiast, nothing brings the arcade experience closer to home than the Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Tournament Edition FightStick.

Overseen by Capcom and legendary producer Yoshinori Ono, the Tournament Edition features an unparalleled level of detail and uses arcade quality components.

Sourced directly from arcade manufacturer Sanwa Denshi, the Tournament Edition FightStick uses the same Japanese style ball-handled joystick and 30mm action buttons found in the official Street Fighter IV Vewlix arcade cabinet. The original Tournament Edition FightStick was the first time these products were available on a consumer product outside of Japan.

With the D-Pad control switch, dual Turbo functionality for each button, and exact button layout matching the Vewlix Street Fighter IV arcade panel, the Tournament Edition FightStick delivers an experience unlike any other arcade styled controller.

Complete with detailed touches such as screw on rubber feet for solid surface play, unobtrusive placement of the Start and Select/Back Buttons along with a locking mechanism preventing accidental activation of Turbo settings for tournament play, the Tournament Edition FightStick represents the best possible choice for the hardcore and dedicated Street Fighter fan.

Note: This is the S version, the latest version that was released in conjunction with Super Street Fighter IV... Hurry! It seems they have very limited stock.

Expensive tat. At half this sale price I'd still say it was a rip off! You could make your own with good quality parts and custom art for less than this!
#2
and what if you dont have the skills to do so, or the ability?

I suppose you would make your own games console as you can do so for a fraction of the price......

good price for a great gamepad for fighting games, but it's out of stock as it is everywhere else

Gosh, so much emotion and passion. I wonder if you ave this much passion in everyday life, you would succeed in everything....

Anyhow, for those who realise that this is JUST AN ARCADE STICK, whcih youll use for only a couple of games, that you come to terms with the reality of how ridiculous the price is.

There's nop theories of whether there are better options or if you can make your own or whatevere, its just common sense. Espensive is expensive, and thats not a hot deal.

not a bad price with new design, new PCB

Heat/rep added to cancel out some of the harsh cold votes.
This isnt my type of thing personally, but ive got friends who are nuts over fighting games, and lack the skills to build their own sticks.
They've paid more than this for tournament sticks previously.

Wow, that anology was genius, NOT! :p

Games consoles are typically sold at a LOSS, so no you cannot DIY a games console on the cheap!

Doesn't change the fact that this is a sh!tty deal.

Typically sold for a loss?

Why then are the majority of games consoles on the market (PS3 being the exception) NOT sold at a loss?

It's not an 'anology', it's an 'analogy'. Don't be criticising others use of words if you cannot use them yourself

Hey, if your gonna be so ana1 as to pick at my 'anology' keyboard slip, then you really are as far up your own arse as I originally suspected. And it's basically common knowledge that the current generation of games consoles are sold at a loss, breakeven at best. Ignore this if you want, contradict me if it makes you feel superior, but it won't change facts matey :p

Well how about facts to change your ill conceived opinion

360:
2006 MS break even on production costs http://www.techspot.com/news/23612-microsoft-makes-tiny-profit-on-xbox-360-hardware.html
2010: $74 per console approx http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/playstation-3-finally-turning-a-profit-on-each-console-sold/

Wii: Believed to be profitible since day 1, hardware in 2008 determined to make $40 per console sold
http://kotaku.com/gaming/wii/wii-autopsy-discovers-manufacturing-cost-221736.php

PS3: Sold at a loss until April 2010
http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/playstation-3-finally-turning-a-profit-on-each-console-sold/

2/3 from 2 years profitable post launch, and that is 3/3 that are profitable today. Either way that is still the majority in both cases so it looks like you need to learn basic mathematical skills again

By all means try to act clever, but don't say someone who has hard evidence and a keen interest in the industry is telling porkies, especially when they have evidence

Your common knowledge is in fact ignorance it seems :whistling:
