Brilliant find!

Are they any good? I heard some of there other controllers (playstation) aren't that good.....

There is a good review/comparison at Gizmondo -

http://gizmodo.com/5291847/battlemodo-the-wiimote-vs-the-cheap-knockoffs

They basically say that it looks, feels and plays pretty much like the real thing, but appeared to have infra red problems during testing...........I would stick with the originals myself, but this seems one of the best budget options, for a 3rd/4th controller (certainly better than the DX knock-offs)

I assume DX knock-offs would be better, as they don't have to comply with patent law and can produce a remote that works exactly the same as an official one. This Madcatz one's produced for sale in the UK, where Nintendo have patents on the Wiimote, it can't legally work the same.

I've got three DX knock offs, almost un-distinguishable from the original and work perfectly.
#9
Wow, thanks for posting! After buying 4 official remotes, some **** has spilled something sticky on two of them. You can rinse a mario kart wheel but you can't rinse a wiimote

And as stated before, I bought 3 DealExtreme knockoffs and only one of them worked, so that's really a hit-or-miss.
#11
bet you didn't get your money back or exchange like i didn't - deal extreme then deleted me from their website! shoddy company!
#12
Can the Wii MotionPlus be attached to this, aswell as the Nunchuk?

Funny how the 2 people slating DX are new here...

I've been buying stuff from DX for a long time, and have never had trouble getting them to replace faulty items, and they've never even asked for the faulty ones back.

Go troll somewhere else.

The first guy registered in 2008, I don't think that makes him new, and new doesn't default to wrong.

If you guys want to get rid of the ones tha tdon't work well, I have been looking to buy them cheap.

I bought one of these wiimotes. It's good quality, the speaker is much louder than the original wiimote and motion sensing / IR is just as good as my real controllers. However my one has some issues with the dpad registering directional presses incorrectly on occasion. Would buy more for 10 quid tho, voted hot.

Worth waiting for the Nyko controllers announced at CES with Motion plus built in?
#19
The only problem with DX is current post time. I ordered a charger which was posted on 9th December and a controller/nunchuck supposedly despatched by DX on the 12th Dec but actually sent by HongKong post on 19th Dec. I have received neither yet (8 Jan) but I am being advised by DX and my local post office to wait another week.

I bought one of these a few months ago when they were selling at about £22 if I remember rightly.

Mine makes a buzzing noise which is quite distracting when playing games and I can even hear it above guitar hero!

Also, I bought a set of two rechargeable battery packs and docking station for my remotes and the official remote takes a lot less time to fully charge and holds it's charge for a lot longer than this remote. The battery packs are the same and I even tried switchig them around but still the same problem which must be caused by this remote.

That being said it is a cheap standby remote which works as well as the official one and the only complaints I have about it are the ones above. I wouldn't use it as my main remote, I only use it as a spare or my boyfriend uses it when we're playing a 2 player game haha
