Not much of a presale if the tickets they are flogging are in the upper tier already...:? Voted cold I'm afraid.

seriously, wtf is up with people who are willing to pay this type of money for a gig?

I see the usual 'voting cold' suspects are at it again
This is not about ticket price.
This deal was about a pre-sale link and as such should be voted hot. If you went on the pre-sale link too late and were only offered seats in upper tiers that is not the fault of the deal. When I looked there were excellent seats in the stall blocks available.
So many thanks to original poster.

What an utterly irrelevant post.

Mmm, plus £17.50 "service charge" from those good Ticketmaster people. Anyone else remember when the booking fee for most gigs was just £1?

As was that...

However, to break the cycle of irrelevant posts quoting others, gig tickets are indeed overpriced! :x

It seems to me these days that people who vote cold are called "suspects", or some other totally irrelevant name. Why? What's wrong with voting cold if you don't think it's a good deal??? Are we not allowed to anymore because other some people think it might be hot???

Regardless of whether this deal is about ticket price or otherwise, it makes no difference to me whether I can get a £175 ticket today or get it when they go on general sale. It's still a rip-off and when you factor the £17.50 service charge in, that takes it to £192.50. I'm sorry, but that amount of money to see Madonna, or anyone for that matter prance around miming for a couple of hours, is a complete rip-off. Hence absolutely, utterly, freezing cold in my opinion.

I'm guessing I'm a suspect now....... :whistling:

I was on the pre-sale at 9:59 yesterday when the tickets went on sale and best available was upper tier!

As I've said before in posts about pre-sales they aren't always the best seats you can get.

The acid test will be tomorrow at 9 (oops today NOW at 9) and if you can get anything better.

I go to lots of gigs (2 a month on average) and Madonna is worth the money to see as she puts on a great show. As much theatre as music.

Yes prices are high however as she sells out all she puts on then they obviously aren't too high, plus best seats will sell for twice that much on ebay, don't you just love supply and demand!
