I don't think that these are actually necessary as the 360 seems to have some pretty substantial (and noisy) fans in it already. Surely if these were needed, Microsoft would have made some?

IMHO I think that these are a bit of a ploy.
Thanks for the feedback markwills :) You're probably right and there are other coolers which apparently make more noise than they're worth :pirate:
Cooler fans are suppose to cause more harm than good and if your 360 goes in for repair and Microsoft find out you have been using these then they will void your warrenty

Don't know about these fans as the reports about the fans include the intercooler 360
Useful to know :) Thanks NFS!

No problem
I was using a intercooler on my 360 until I was told they are no good and basically just a gimmick

Here are some links regarding how useful and what damage some coolers can cause and they apparantly drains too much power from the 360 thus making it more likely to break
I just assumed they were a gimmick, didn't realise they could actually harm the 360.
They look like 2 40mm fans? I've found out in the past from building and repairing computers that anything less than 120mm is just pointless. These 40/80mm fans have to spin so damn fast to shift a decent amount of air, and they tend to have very high dBa ratings and just make a racket.

From what I hear the noise ratings are on an XBOX 360, this won't help. Agree with the previous comment, just a gimmick.

Don't know if all the coolers can harm the xbox 360 but the ones mentioned in the liks apparantly do and Microsoft won't fix your console if they find out you have had one connected
