Madworld is not your average Wii game. Not only is it a rare 18-rated title for the console, but it's one of the most violent video games on any system. If you've the stomach for it though it's been created by some of gaming's most talented developers, including the producer of Viewtiful Joe and Okami.

Although the level of violence in Madworld is extreme it's not in the slightest bit realistic or serious, as lead character Jack competes in an ultraviolent television show called Death Watch. Madworld is portrayed in a black & white comic book style, with the only other colour present being the red of split blood.

Beyond all the controversy though lies a well-honed action game, with Jack able to use almost anything in the environment as a weapon - whether it's tied down or not. If you want more out of the Wii than just another mini-game collection, this could be the game for you.

It is so madly violent that it got banned in some countries. In the past I've sold some to Germany and there was a case of a buyer getting a letter from police saying that his game got confiscated because it is banned there.
Myself and one or two others are still waiting for a delivery from these people, apparently dispatched a month ago now.
stop the hype this game is always a cheap as chips!

and dont quote me but arnt the graphics mostly black and white?

link to youtube trailer

does indeed look quite violent though!

I should have said, I've had stuff from them before without problems and when I emailed about Blue Dragon they offered a refund or replacement (when they get stock) right away. But MW seems to come up for three quid all the time now anyway.
At £2.69 its almost a disposable game - one on order
I picked it up for £2 preowned in Asda if that helps anyone, they had loads of copies so I'm guessing it's not that great but for £2 I was will to take a punt. Perfect condition but I haven't played it yet.
great game and a fantastic price! lots of gory comedy fun and the commentary is great too with john dimaggio (voice of bender from futurama) and greg proops (great comedian!) dont know why its an 18 as its all so unbelievable anyway and done in a comedic way!
Ordered Thur - delivered Sat - hot!
