Lets be serious. Seriously.

Landmines and other remnants of conflict kill or injure a person every 20 mins.

Many victims are children and almost all are civilians.

MAG (Mines Advisory Group) works in 10 countries worldwide helping vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

Show your support feet first by sporting these MAG socks, which come in black or red

Excellent idea- very important to help people affected by landmines esp. following Princess Diana's work.....

Aaaaghh, the urge to right something funny. Must control stupid brain.

I would be interested in a contributing to a legal fighting fund to sue the manufacturers of landmines and the persons who signed the end user certificates

Is there a breakdown of where the money goes?
#7
Surely it'd be better to just donate?

http://www.mag.org.uk/page.php?s=1&p=97

I also can't see a break down on where the money goes, but I think it's safe to say that a direct donation of £4.50 would mean more actual money going to the cause.
#8
true, with no sock overheads the charity would see more of that money. then again, i'd see no socks.
#9
Well if it makes you feel better, why not.

I can't begin to encourage people enough to support Anti Landmine causes.

War itself is never a pretty thing but the use of landmines is beyond cowardly. (particularly when said regimes/troops/orders do not remove them afterwards).

The collateral damage is just beyond disgraceful!

Got my socks and also ordered a hoodie off them for £20 , must say their good quality and their doing some great work with the money and the info pack that comes with the goods is very informative, looking through the brochure I'll be getting some more gear off them. Thanks to fionamarina for bringing this to my attention.
