Magazine Subscriptions from £1.00 Auto Express, GQ, PC Pro etc plus 20% Quidco @ MagazineSubscriptions
Was looking for sewing mags for the wife and stumbled across this website which is doing some amazing deals. 20% Quidco possible too. I've tried to list the ones I think are the best, but there are loads to pick from. I'll put links in the first post:

If it's a subscription (i.e.Direct Debit), then yes. You should ensure you cancel the Direct Debit after the introductory discount has run out so that you're not charged for later editions.
If it's a credit card transaction, as some of these are, then I don't see how they could bill you beyond the initial transaction.

In this case the credit card payments appear to be a single payment for a limited number of magazines. However some subscriptions are by a recurring payment from a credit card which is harder to cancel than a direct debit; you can cancel a direct debit by contacting your bank but to cancel a credit card recurring payment you have to contact the company the payment is going to.
