WTF is a magic pizza? :D

http://www.magicpizza.co.uk/

The product is a stainless steel perforated convex device that goes into the oven underneath the centre of a pizza raising it closer to the source of heat ensuring that the centre of a pizza is cooked at the same rate as the edge preventing inconsistency. The product increases the temperature at the centre of a pizza by as much as 20% and also reduces cooking time and energy by up to 20%.

I'd buy this just to support the chap on Dragon's Den who'd invented it. If memory serves, he'd lost his wife and pretty much had only this invention to his name; he was a dustbin man or something similar. One of the most genuine unpretentious people I'd ever seen in the Den.

Will this fit and work in a 12 litre Halogen oven?

Kevo2k7 yes as its not much bigger than a saucer and not as big as a sandwich plate. I bought the Robert Dyas Halogen oven that was on offer Nuo and thats 17 Litre and it be lost in that. There is no way my Halogen will cook a Pizza without turning pizza upside down so hope this cooks Pizza with out doing that.
Just a thought i think i try it on meat pies in Halogen as the pastry at bottom of meat pies dont cook in Halogen either

Brilliant thanks for that Patti, have you tried cooking the pizza and meat pies on the bottom rack of your halogen oven? ive got the Andrew james 12 litre oven and it doesn't cook the bottom hardly when i put something on the top rack but the bottom rack seems to get full coverage of the food and it cooks al over but just need to let it cook a bit longer as its bottom shelf etc. cheers for your reply anyway. Kevo2k7 I had already started cooking a meat pie in my Remoska but then transferred when my roast potatoes had finished in Halogen . The meat pies are too big to sit on the Magic Pizza and i think if i cooked it longer the filling would have dropped out !
Thanks for the tip i put the meat pie on the bottom rack and see how that works.
