Imo when you compare what you get to see & do at Disney compared to uk theme parks Disney aren't greedy.
It's the type of ticketing that is greedy. The other parks are all equally as good and put in lot of effort for a great experience. It's just the disney machine feel they can charge double what others charge. They're not twice as good though!
Plus the fact that all tickets expire within set time of first use, means for a family of four to visit florida it'll cost them over £1k to fo the disney parks. Added to this that for most first timers will want to do the other parks, that'll be another £500 for universal 14 day unlimited tix, and I coukd go on.
At end of day you can only be in one park at a time! So why be forced to purchase all these unlimited entry tickets?
If like us yiuve been many times, doing them all each holiday isn't priority, so we don't waste hard earned money on over purchasing tickets, but I do feel for those on a budget for trip,of a lifetime, passes are adding 2k or so, with disney being the most greedy.
I actually like disney parks, but would rather purchase the set number if days required and save.

i know what you mean but they've been running for long time, think at least last 10yrs. But still good idea use cc. Shame those other passes gone. Wonder if you can add lifetime/ no expiration on at gates anymore?
no its all gone its all aimed at them 14 day unlimted passes these days that's it, so expensive
That's just so greedy of Disney, I mean lovely though it is for all age groups, it's at least double the price of Universals 14 day unlimited tix(£118 cheapest do far) and tbh last year we bought 14 day Legoland & waterpark tix for a 3 week holiday, and planned to buy a 1-2 day disney ticket in resort, but my youngest (3yrs) got an ear infection which meant a low key first week out if the heat, just hanging around the Villa & bit shopping & hosp & chemist few times and do the Legoland was plenty as we did couple beach days too.
How many times you been over there? We've been quite a few that I've lost count, but one of my children likes routine so we can't go anywhere else.
I'm currently looking for flights either this summer hols or next easter at a push. Got to go in school hols due yo GCSE year for my eldest.

this year will be my 15th trip maybe 16th ive been going every other year since 1990 sometimes back to back. ive also done a one day hopper now but ive got a little baby girl now that loves all things Disney so I need extra days now. also universal is a must but you also need shopping days and we tend to have 1/2 nights in Clearwater too.

But its all about a schedule and sticking too it I plan a lot and tend to stick too it!
