Out of all the capsule coffee machines Nespresso are the only ones that I've found that give a decent espresso. These machines are usually £100 on their own and £130 with the little milk kettle/frother thing they call Aeroccino which can be used to turn the espresso made by the machine into a latte or cappuccino.
They aren't cheap machines to run (capsules cost about 25-30p each) but after trying everything from cafetiere through stovetop Bialetti to 'normal' espresso machines, I've found that my Nespresso is the only coffee machine that I still use regularly - a combination of ease of use (and cleaning!) and decent enough coffee means it actually gets used, unlike many of the others which don't fit into my life as well.
This was spotted in the Edinburgh Maybury store, availability may be restricted as it appears to be a discontinued item.
Edit: It seems likely that only 'full' and perhaps 'wide' range stores will have had these in stock (check store type here http://www.multimap.com/clients/places.cgi?client=comet_new),
might save someone a wasted trip.
