Maglite LED torches are not very bright when compared to cheaper chinese models.

But a cheaper chinese torch wont last 5 minutes on a building site though will it?
#3
£5 delivery makes it not much cheaper than others...

Is this a misprice 'cause it says save 40% yet is more like 60% off?

Recently got an LED Lenser from Amazon and it is way better than Maglites which I'd always been a fan of.

That's a bloody long torch!! Are you sure it's not a club!!

Simply RUBBISH! Buy Chinese, Much better!

Maglite torches are OK, but but not quite the inflated quality some claim! Low light output being the biggest let down, and I have lost count of the number of keyring sized ones I have lost because the end unscrews so easily hoewever much you tighten it :-(

A couple of weeks ago I bought a 4 led aluminium torch from Lidl for £4.99, they had mountians of them, so may well still have some. Takes 3 AA batteries, so you can get an idea of the size, and it is amazingly engineered (in a maglite style!) and is much brighter than the Maglite torches I have had in the past - light output is white, with a slightly blue tinge. I was well pleased.

£1 item made in China wouldn't last 5 mins on a building site whereas a £20 item made in China will.
