The official Maglite LED upgrade module, with focusing beam. Upgrades any 3 cell C or D Maglite torch to a powerful white LED beam. Unlike 'LED refits' that are not made or approved by Maglite, this is engineered and factory-authorised by Maglite. Its use cannot void the warranty on your Maglite torch. LED technology dramatically preserves battery life, saving you money. It is also more durable as LEDs are virtually indestructible in normal use, and can last up to 100,000 hours. This means no bulb changes. Instructions included.

Ordered and heat added thanks:thumbsup: As to Dealextreme touches try hitting a burglar over the head with one of there £6.83 torches. I keep a 6 D cell Maglite by the bed for this very purpose:-D And rep for anyone who can find me a cheap led module for the 6 cell.

Also don't forget +£2 MP3 credit

This maybe the answer for the 6 cell

NO, you keep a 6 cell Maglite by your bed in order to facilitate in the event of a power out & some home maintenance you were doing at the time of a prospective burglary, unfortunately your statement is of intent & would have you on the wrong side of a stupid law that would give a burglar more rights than you to protect your home & family.
It has to be an item that was to hand.. incidental to a break in to make attacking a burglar legitimate.
(for example I tend to sharpen my axes & billhooks in rotation, in the bedroom, therefore item is to hand should a break in happen & you get past the dogs)

Might give her-in-doors ideas if I kept anything that sharp in the bedroom:whistling:

you have obviously never bought a decent torch from dealextreme then....im not talking about $1-3 range - more like the $10-40 range - try the cree ones and learn something!!....i have maglites but the mte3-2 and uniquefire c2 are as good if not better built than the maglites but 1000 times brighter:roll:

and where is your overpriced maglite made?

carry on and pay extra for a yesteryear product

oh not so cocky now are we? yes that pocket sized torch light output is miles better (claimed ahem 700 lumen but is mega bright - vid doesnt do it justice) than the maglite 4D cell "candle" (maybe 0.1 lumen)

Yes I have but please do tell me of a Dealextreme one costing £6.83 that I can bounce off a burglars head and not expect to receive a good kicking for my trouble:p
