I have the Husky bud one and its the biggest pile of **** ive ever owned very noisey and the cans come out not much cooler than they went in and chocolate does so voted cold and i only paid around the same or less from tesco over a year ago and it was like it from day one so if you dream of loverly cold beers then go else where and get a proper mini fridge, They are not that much more expensive and will do a real job chills to 2c is rubbish that would mean that it actually cooled.

I have the Husky Bud one too, bought it a couple of weeks ago @ £79.99 from sainsbury's, admittedly it is quite noisey but everything in there comes out nicely chilled, maybe yours is just a one off?

They apparently do two types.
A cheaper chiller that does not have a compressor - i guess polly69 must have this type ( unless its faulty).
The other is proper refrigerator type like the listed model - these cool down to below 5 degrees and are food safe.

No its the same one its not a Bud one its the stella one and was reduced the same as this, it started off cold and after a few days it was not very cold at all, after researching it before i was going to return it i found out they are rubbish so its not faulty, its not much cooler than the ambient temps and unless you want to defrost it every other day and see if that works.

Another owner has also commented on how noisy it is and I've also said the same if there was no compressor what would the noise be you hear the compressor kicks in and out and is so noisy its been put in the cupboard.

Running costs & noise levels for this model:

: 219kWh/year energy consumption (About £20-40 of electricity per year, depending upon tariff)
: 40dB noise level (probably noticeable in a quiet room)

From what you have said it does actually sound faulty to me, I would return it if you can, you cant call something a fridge if the drinks come out the same temp as when you put them in!

These are great and get drinks properly cold like a regular fridge. We also sometimes keep milk/cream in it if main fridge is overstocked and they work fine. Had our one for a couple of years and has always worked fine. If its not getting driniks cold there is clearly an issue with it so I would return it for a refund or replacement

Probably like any fridge not ideal for a very quiet room (like a bedroom or next to you when you are watching telly for instance),

Good price - voted hot

If you still have the receipt for it, go and buy a second one. Then go back a day later and return the second one with the first receipt. It's normally why companies offer a price match for a few days after you buy as you can just do this.

Too noisy for my bedroom, had to put it in the computer room.
