It's not going to take 48 hours hahaha. The yeast will take as long as it needs to ferment all the sugars. Then it needs to settle. Then once bottled up it needs to mature. So I would say 10 days minimum in the fermenting vessel. The last 2 days in a fridge to force the yeast to settle. Then at least 2 weeks to mature in the bottles. That would be my absolute minimum. Then you will get a dry cider so add sweeteners to make it drinkable. Its a bit pricey for 20 pints, obviously a novelty cider. A 40 pint normal cider is about £15 on average. (_;)

You're not informing any one of anything though... The box says 48 hours so 48 hours it is... Or 24 like some one else said it was ready in. oO I don't mind people posting / commenting if they actually have something constructive / intelligent to add to the post.

Could only find one youtube review of these kits - he says the dark ale is bobbins and the cider he's done is a 6/10 and like cheapy supermarket cider, so it might be worth doing for novelty value.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfuyVDHstGE 11 minutes in for the cider.

I have never tasted this flavour cider before so yeah, it will be a novelty, even if it turns out crappy, at least we can say we brewed our own cider! X)

Let us know how it turns out. I've got a lot of turbo cider with raspberry made from Prince's juice bottled up but it's very tart and I'm hoping it'll get better with age.
