Before people start shouting the odds saying its a waste of time, i posted it because it's a way of getting free money.

Currently play.com are selling rayman raving rabbids 2 on Nintendo wii for £17.99, you can use the 5% code and 4% Quidco get it to £16.38

Once bought if you take it into game and ask the trade in price, they will say £25. Ask them to print it on a reciept then take it into gamestation show them the reciept. Not only will they match the price but will give you a £1 Extra. So will have a £26 pound credit voucher for gamestation when you only spent £16.

This may seem like alot of effort but it's up to you if you want to make yourself a bit of free money.

You may ask how i know you get £25 pounds in game. Well here is the up to date trade in guide.

http://www.game.co.uk/lowdown.aspx?lid=7808&cm_sp=consoles-_-topnav-_-tradein

This game on it's own is not a bad price either if you want it to keep.

Very Clever - I might just do this myself - thanks OP

Voted cold cos it's a stupid title for the thread.
What happened to putting the title/shop/store/supplier/price/delivery etc in the title?
#4
just because ive put a bad title doesn't mean you should vote cold

appreciate that its a good deal

i though it was about the deal not the title
#5
Cold as you are not " making yourself a tenner" you are making a £10 voucher that has to be spent in gamestation
#6
I ordered three items, cancelled one of them and my quidco was declined as it was not for the full amount that my original order was

Or for an even better deal, buy Final Fantasy:Revannent (or how ever you spell it!) Wings from Play.com for £9.99 and then take it to cex for £22.00 exchange value, that way you are making £12 extra, I win with the stupid ideas :)

Just because you thought it best to ignore the rules on posting, and post a deal that i don't think is hot means i can vote it cold.

Lol, no :p

Problem is with deals like this, is a lot of folks will do it, flood the market, the trade in drops and folks are left with copies of games they don't want, in the (vain) hope they could make a quick tenner. That good enough reason for you, or do you want another economics lecture?
My time in doing all of that, is worth more than a tenner too......so, voted cold and if i could, i'd cold vote it, twice

Not wanting to rain on everybody's parade but....
Has anyone been into Game and asked what the current trade in value is?

The link to the brocuhre isnt the current prices just what they were giving when they went to print. i.e. Halo 3 is currently £11 not £14 (for the 360).

Also that list is for trade in and not cash so its not quite free money although there is the potential for a x=extra £10 store credit with GameStation

Game near me won't give me a receipt with the price, as they know it'll be used to get better trade in at Gamestation. I asked if they would price match, then, and they wouldn't....

They told me that all Game stores will NOT give out a receipt, unless they are in a place with no competition from other retailers that trade in, like on a retail park...
