Must be a typo as the OP has written £12.95 delivered. Probably meant 21.95 delivered ?

I think he's put the price wrong as it should probably read £21.95 delivered

I have a similar set without the sockets. the quality of my set was awful. purchased from screwfix a few years ago.
will never buy a set from makita again.

I am still happy with their drill machines.

I agree with the above comment. the set is appalling and i would expect the same quality of this from a pound shop set it is that bad.

had the same set before and it was cr*p
pretty much everything broke way too quick and was only used for home diy jobs

Irwin drill bits are pretty good. Noth the cheapest and can be hard to find, but Amazon do have some sets.I have the Makita accessory set as part of my 18v Drill box and got the Irwin masonry set for cordless drills when the Makita offerings blunted on first use. The difference is amazing, Irwin bits go through concrete like it is cheese.

Agree with the above, I had this set and screwdriver bits snap easily. Certainly wouldn't buy again.

I'm surprised that Makita quality would be poor, but will steer clear, thanks for the comments.

I've had fine for a few years, seemed decent enough quality. Couple of bits wore down, but that's it. Had heavy diy use, including 3 bathrooms and a kitchen.
#15
Probably it won't but you can buy the Bosch 50 pieces set for £17

Good price but echo the sentiments above, these tend to be of average quality and the drill bits aren't the best and the other bits tend to break fairly easily. But a handy kit for DIY'ers and it will get you out of trouble.

Best masonary drill bits I've found are the Dewalt 'extreme' at £10 from Screwfix
