Update: on 23/04/2010 price changed from 99.98 to 89.98

Went to buy a drill and found this.
Was looking for something that doesn't need charging for three hours and has sufficient torque. So this one comes with a 30 minute charger.
Batteries are 1.3Ah, not big, but there two of those and at 30 minute charge i think its plenty. NiCd type. Charger can handle batteries of both NiCd and NiMh types up to 3.0Ah

As for torque i think that this is the torque-iest sub £100 drill:
High gear - 27Nm
Low gear - 42Nm
I've seen much more expensive drills with much less torque.

Checked the prices separately, the drill body is about 40 quid, one battery (1.3Ah) ~£35, (3.0Ah NiMh go for £50+) Charger ~£30-35

Did have 20% off a few weeks back in B&Q. 1.3ma is not too good for heavy use and since I've had my Makita kit with Li-ion batteries, Ni-Cads really suck.

btw just dropped to £89.99 according to an advert in one of the tabloids

Seems to be the best price around at the moment, anyone got an idea what the chances of B&Q/Screwfix/anyone else dropping it to £80 again? I went to Screwfix to pick one of these up for £80 the day they put the price back up!
