Anyone got anything negative to say about this drill?

I bought a Dewalt a few months back from Screwfix and was concerned tha the torque settings seem overly high..

Over the weekend I helped my neighbour fit an LCD TV on the wall and on Torque Setting one, it had the power to put a round head number 10 screen deep into the timber that I was fixing to the wall.

So on Monday I did the rounds and started to look at other drills (Makita, Ryobi, Hitachi etc) and found that they had 'usable' torque settings (i.e 1 could be stopped using fingers)... But at the same time i also confirmed that the Dewalt drills in B&Q were the same as mine, so its not a fault.

I spoke to Dewalt today and they called it a "peculiarity".. They implied (infact they actually said) that the Torque settings on the Dewalt model I have don't work...

After speaking to Screwfix they have offered to replace it and I am tempted to swap it for one of these Makitas..

Any thoughts about this?
