I used to buy cheap tools. They broke. Then I bought makita. I've not replaced a tool yet! Yes they are more expensive but they are worth every penny in my opinion.

That's a great price for a decent drill and battery. If you're doing a lot of masonary drilling I thoroughly recommend the next model up, the 458 which has nearly twice the torque of most sub £200 drills, it really makes drilling into tough bricks and concrete a (relative) breeze...but it's a heavy drill that might be overkill for the average DIY'er

Heat.

Not a bad deal nice to see it has the 4.0 battery which is the latest most powerful

If you can live with the older style model and a mere 3mAh battery then WIckes have a the 453 model for just £89 http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/makita-dhp453rf-cordless-hammer-driver-drill-18v-wickes-89-99-2100164

Makita drills are the best drills you can get (unless youre a professional and pay £500+). I bought the twin pack of 14.4V drills for about £120 umpteen years ago and can highly recommend them.

I can't specifically as I've not got one myself, but am considering a Makita to go with my other LXT drill so I can buy one without another charger, probably like this without battery or charger or this is even cheaper
