This is now the cheapest its been.

Body only.

This SDS Plus Brushless 3 Mode Rotary Hammer Drill is able to drill in concrete as fast or faster than 24 V Cordless Combination Hammer model BHR200, a great testament to the power it packs. The tool body is separated into the upper and lower housings at the foot of handle portion where the housings are jointed with vibration absorbing cushion rubbers.

3 mode operation: Rotation + Hammering, Hammering only & Rotation only

Rubber joint suppresses vibration to battery terminals, reducing failures

Drill concrete as fast or faster than 24V Combi Hammer BHR200

One touch slide chuck for SDS-plus bit. Note: Switch can be stiff as brand new which will ease after the first use. Please turn the switch to all modes and then it will move more freely after that.

Ergonomically designed to give maximum power thrust

I have this and paid a lot more then that. Really is an outstanding SDS for the money.

what's this like comparing to the bosch 36v brushless I know it's a lot of difference battery wise but what about performance
#3
Bosch one is better, having said that I own the 243Z which is this one with the chuck adapter and I use it for everything except core drilling and it's a great drill.

Thanks. Went for the 'used - like new' on warehouse for £107.
#5
Thanks, just brought this and it came with a promo discount which knocked it down to £109

Any good deals on batteries?

I would need to get a battery and charger which makes this look less of a good deal for a new buyer. any good ideas where to get them cheap?

I've been using one of these alongside 2 3ah and 1 4ah authentic makita lxt batteries and for a quarter of the price you can't go wrong. It lasts longer than all of them in high drain tools like grinder and sds drill and is showing no sign of failing.

LENOGE® high Capacity 18V 4.5Ah Li-ion Replacement Battery for Makita LXT, BL1830, BML1845, BTM50Z, BTD146Z, BHP458Z, BGA452Z, BSS610Z and More Other Makita 18V Power tools https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00SALML8A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_mC94xb81W680G

I'm pretty sure you can't get a "cheap charger", you have to use the real Makita ones which are fantastic, they will cool and then charge the battery with 22mins. Makita stuff isn't cheap for a reason, its real good quality. I use both Makita and 3rd party batterys. In all honest I don't notice any difference in how long they last. Almost 3 years old.

Yeah I'd agree with this. I'm not sure how much I'd trust a third party charger and the makita ones are very quick.

not much use if you want it now, but you could wait around until this comes back down to £99:

Ordered one to add to my other Makita kit and found it very noisy on the mid setting, so have returned it to Amazon. Am currently waiting to see if the second one is any quieter or if that is just the way they are. Lovey piece of kit and did what it was supposed to do when I tried it..
