Change the buying options to "Other Sellers" or click on the "11 New From..." link to see the £125 Amazon Price.

If you have ordered from Amazon for £170 and the price went down, all you had to do was to ask for a refund, no need to send back and reorder. Also £125 is for for Prime members only.

Split Bundle.

Drill £48.99 Delivered
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Makita-DHP482Z-Cordless-Combi-Drill/dp/B01N1K6ZJG/

2 Batteries £83.99 Delivered
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Makita-BL1830-Li-ion-Battery-Pack/dp/B000EDRT70/

Charger £43.92
https://www.amazon.co.uk/MAKITA-14-4-18V-Lithium-ion-Battery-Charger/dp/B005KRK90E

= £176.90 (without the case)

There is also another Amazon Deal for the charger and 2x 4.0ah batteries for £115
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Makita-BL1840DC18RC-DC18RC-Charger-Battery/dp/B018NT388A

Add that to the body for £48.99 and £164 (without the case) is still a great price.

I got the same kit from Plumbcentre from a previous HUKD last week, very pleased at £119 but that one's out of stock.

Just bagged an impact driver to go with from Power Tool World for £59.99 too.

This one that came with 1x4ah instead of 2x3ah?

Tried that once, took 2 weeks, never arrived, was an "error", never had a problem with Amazon but 1st time I order from the warehouse there was an issue...

fast charger £32 on ebay free delivery !!!!!!!!

"1X 3.0AH BATTERY"

Not quite. Thats ~£40 worse value.

That still makes buying them individually over £165 without the case.

How many drills does the case hold? If you want the impact driver and a case that holds 2 drills, would it not be cheaper to buy the dlx2131 set? £199.99 for everything with 2 3ah batteries?

But for the drill on its own in this kit, hot :)

I dipped when they had the 20% off everything Warehouse then the £30 off £100 promotion.

Id say most of the stuff was better shape than quoted. Nothing was disappointing and all delivered next day when I selected Prime.

I have heard horror stories though and I think their reputation is about 85% at the moment!?

Case looks to be specific to this kit. I.e. battery plus 2 batteries and charger.

However, if you opted for the kit with the Impact Driver too, would you not essentially be paying £75 for the Driver, when you can get that Body Only for cheaper?

Personally, I picked up one of those tidy Makita LXT bags for £17.30 and ill just be rehousing everything in that I reckon.

You would be paying £75 for the impact driver and a case that holds 2 drills, 3 batteries and the charger.... but if the case is of no interest then this is the better deal. Got mine off eBay as I had loads of nectar points to use...
#18
Ah, Nectar points. Cash mine in when there's a good promo and always end up buying something I don't need but massively want :)

Used to be so much better... but had £60 to use and nothing to use it on... double up was rubbish for me this year and the days out stuff is nowhere near what tesco's is :(

Plumbcenter £119 not sure if it's exactly the same drill, but has charger, case, 2 x 3ah batteries. It is a white Makita though.

Keep an eye on it. It's out of stock, then back in stock, out again. This was over the last week. I managed to order one for collection on the 9th

I've looked at that for ages and never had the opportunity to order. Thought it was one of those attention seeking prices to get you onto the site :)

Not so. It used to work this way but the last 2 times I tried this (price went down within a week of ordering) I had to return and re-order. Last time was last week so I think this is the policy now.
#25
silhouette, your link is for a battery charger and 1 4аh battery not 2.

The case that comes with this is a standard stacking one. It comes with a removeable liner that holds the tool and bateries. I have one that has the 18v angle grinder in it.

I may be wrong but I think amazon don't do price match and price difference refund anymore

Tried to order earlier but Amazon site stated " internal error problem". Waited till after midnight and order has now been placed and accepted.

Not sure if we've been unlucky but we have now given up on buying these combi drills as the motors keep burning out. We now use Metabo, although the single Makita DHP459Z brushless we have is great. Body is about £30 more than this one.

I believe their policy has changed. They wouldn't refund me the difference of a price of an item BEFORE my item was even delivered, said I had to refuse delivery and they re-order at the lower price.

I wasn't aware, my last time I asked them was in 2015 when Honor 7 price was reduced by £25, and got credited with no questions asked. Thanks

Same. The 7 day price guarantee stopped in May '16. Wouldn't refund £30 difference on Kenwood stand mixer over xmas. Had to cancel and re-order but was charged 6.99 for return shipping. Shame really, 7-day price promise came in handy on a couple of occasions

I can't see this deal anymore. I have prime as well. Can someone else confirm?
