Some friends asked me to find a deal for them next summer. Unfortunately it's not suitable for them but maybe it is for someone else. Based on 2 Adults in August 2015 (Peak Season).

Staying at the 4* Hotel Plaza del Castillo, just 12km from Malaga Airport, this hotel is rated 4.2/5 on TripAdvisor.

Cost for the 7 Night stay through Hotels.com is currently £274 total.

In terms of flights, there are plenty of choices around. The best for me is British Airways from London Gatwick at £133.54 per person. The details of which are below,

Gatwick (London) - Malaga - 12 August 2015
Departs 06:50
Arrives 10:40
Flight BA2712

Malaga - Gatwick (London) - 19 August 2015
Departs 23:15
Arrives 00:55
Flight BA2723

Although if you want to sacrifice these times or prefer to fly from Bristol, you can actually save a little and go for these flights (out with Easyjet and back with RyanAir).

Bristol - Malaga - 12 August 2015
Departs 19:35
Arrives 23:10
Flight EZY6057 (Easyjet)
Cost £56.69

Malaga - Bristol - 19 August 2015
Departs 06:45
Arrives 08.30
Flight (RyanAir)
Cost £65.99

Both these options allow for a carry on bag, but if you need any more allowance for the hold you can purchase at the check out.

Hope that helps someone.

Was thinking of booking but the hotel is in the middle of an industrial park and I don't think they have a swimming pool. Also no availability for a room with kids...

I'm not sure how suitable this place is for children, but I must admit that the reviews on TripAdvisor peaked my interest.

It's lovely but check out the surrounding on google maps. It is slap bang in the middle of an industrial estate!
