Worth noticing that if you were to look at the accident history of turkish and malaysian you would choose malaysian any day. The fact is that airlines learn and improve. The only things you can compare on is price quality and or time
I know this is personal preference but I find MAS has a better flight time

I flew Malaysian to Auckland and they were a decent airline (apart from the spicy prawns for breakfast).

Can't understand the naive individuals that think because they have had an accident they should be avoided like the plague. If you won't travel with any airline that's had a crash you are going to be spending a lot of time on the bus.

Turkish are fine if you don't mind a narrow bodied flight to IST and a potential layover of 6 hrs. I'll pay the extra cash for a direct flight on an A380 any time.
The spicy prawns and coconut rice is the traditional breakfast in Malaysia. Nasi Lemak! yummy !

Bali is amazing :)

Is it? it's an absolute dump in the "tourist" areas. I will never go there again.

Utter nonsense, been around 9 times over the last 12 years.
Amazing place, been all round the island staying in many different places.
Best holiday destination by far, it has everything.

Yep got everything, including the most persistent & nasty touts in SE Asia, refuse to hire one of their extortionate "guides" to go up the volcano and come back to a smashed up bike or car. Try to lie on a beach and they will persist to try to sell you crap regardless of what you say to them. Full of Aussie chavs during the Oz school holidays. Crap food.
These prices expired days ago (the thread on Holiday Pirates is expired too).

good deal but if you want to fly around Xmas just wait for BA to anounce that they'll go on strike. The prices will drop massively and in the end the strike will be cancelled. That happens every year :o)
Please can anybody help how do I find a flights to Perth from London for £700? 8th nov?? Can't find any :(

500 is not the normal price to Malaysia. It's the sale price

Wrong. Around £500 is average for most of the year. £825 or anywhere approaching it except for a late Xmas booking is way over the top.

This is not a bad price to Perth, but for all other destinations in Oz there are cheaper carriers at present.

Hmm... I stand corrected. Good - coz I thought it coz I thought it was much higher than that
From which Airport? Been looking at australia for a while and very rarely see less than £800 flights.

Malaysian airlines is one of the best airlines I have ever flown. KL (and the islands in Malaysia) are one of the most picterusque places I have been to. Lived there (and Thailand and Singapore) for almost 2 yrs.

Miss it loads - great region. and great airline.
I m trying to book for september, but no availability. £1 rates are coming in oct/nov but only one way.

Hmmm... a bizarre booking engine. Searching for flights using the flexible dates option may only show one £89 outbound fare but if you click on it, suddenly all the return fares become much cheaper (ie £90).

KUL is actually a good airport for cheap flights to other parts of Asia. Check out Air-Asia
Try flexible date and you should be able to see the promotion fare.
Yeah agreed with above COld from me too
What a con. The web site says book before 5th of Oct for travel upto 12th of Dec, and I put in the last week of October and it came to £2400 per adult for a one week return from KL. Cold
