great film, but the first hour doesnt half drag on and on and on.... then boom ! its brilliant for the last hour or so.Bit too long in my opinion, Ridley Scott is a bit too fond of the slow mo pan around shot.

Loved the film and so did all my mates bar one who said "I just wasted an hour and a half of my life, couldn't they just skip the build up and get to the shooting", the mind boggles.

Agreed, one of my all time best.

Can anyone jog my memory as to another Denzel film (I think) that I am sure is about time warping /travel (but not in a sc-fi way). At the end of the film he is seen getting off a ferry crossing type boat. Can't for the life of me remember what it is though.

Could have been 'Deja Vu' - it was on the telly the other night (or was it!).

Brilliant film; I got the download, the cheap Chinese knock off DVD, the official DVD then the Blu Ray as a present for Christmas. Gets better all the time. :)

correctomundo, but still my comment still stands.

Micheal Bay killed the slow motion pan around though overuse. The Scotts helped.

Bruckheimer killed the slow mo american flag. Megan Fox helped.

Nick Cage killed his own career. His wig helped.
