Has anyone ever used these tickets before and got on or off at different stations? I know it states in the terms and conditions that you must use them only at Manchester and Euston, but do they really bother, thanks :)

I've not seen them do that before. Hopefully it's an error and it'll be fixed soon! Otherwise it might just be too expensive for most people to book cheap one way and full price the other way... at least for me.

I've got Wimbledon tickets for the 4th July.

When I checked the main site prices, I almost gave up going as the tickets came to £300.

I can make plans to go now with my OH.

Thanks OP. Voted HOT!!!

It depends... on the train. The fastest services only stop at a couple of places, some go (relatively) round the houses. Look up the service you're interested in, e.g. 12.05pm and see where it stops using nationalrail.co.uk or similar.

Many thanks. Just bought 2 returns for £8!!

To everyone quoting silly prices for normal tickets.....you can always buy a saver return ticket where you have to specify what day you are leaving and that lets you return on any train within 1 month for a little over £60. You can even turn up on the day and buy one at the station. It has never cost me more than around £40 for a return (young persons card), and I make the journy around 10 times a year.

Just a heads up.....dont be buying the silly priced singles
