Review:
An experiment at a secret research facility has gone catastrophically wrong. Daniel Lamb and Leo Kasper are the only surviving subjects. The Pickman Project will stop at nothing to hunt them down and stop the truth from getting out.

Demented screams echo around the dank asylum that has caged you for the last six years. You open your eyes. A white-coated body slumps to the floor through your shaking hands. A bloody syringe slips from your arm. Waves of confusion and paranoia crash over you. You have no idea who you are or how you got here.

The door to your cell is open. One choice. One chance. They took your life. Time to take it back.

Is this as good as the first Manhunt? By "as good" I mean will it make crazy people want to do murders?

It was never proven that the original "Manhunt" game caused the murder of 14 year old Stefan Pakeerah by his older friend, Warren Leblanc (on 27 February 2004).

Although widely reported that Leblanc was "obsessed" with the game, causing the title to be removed from sale (even with increased demand due to the court case) from some high street stores, and on various internet sites (such as eBay), the police force responsible for the investigation & presentation of the evidence to secure a conviction did, in fact, make it clear that the party responsible for the murder (Leblanc) did not own the game.

The victim (Pakeerah) did!

Games do not kill people.
People kill people.

Gruesome?

The graphical quality of the presentation of this title on the Wii is not as good (in my opinion) to the PS2 & the PSP variants, but the use of the Wiimote & Nunchuk controllers provide a worthwhile addition to the franchise.

it's the censored version tho. to get it past the BBFC Rockstar had to cover the screen with a white filter that masks the gruesome acts that Daniel Lamb commits under your control. And without the OTT gore this game has little else to offer IMO.

PS: I haven't yet killed anyone as a result of this game or otherwise

Got this for £5.99 two weeks ago from amazon. Worth a punt at that price but got bored with it quickly.
