Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the game is still banned and wont be released until the BBFC says so.

The appeal by Rockstar only started last week....

I've played the uncut version on the wii, it's ok. Manhunt was better.

This isnt a deal as such, but more news imho.

As it's not confirmed, perhaps best to put this one on hold mods?

According to GC (teletext) this morning, Rockstar have managed to get the BBFC to admit there's no connection between games and real world violence. The BBFC however still say they have to draw the line somewhere.

Having played the uncut version I can honestly say it's not worth buying. If only the BBFC could protect us from all the **** that does get released :)

There is no uncut version for the Wii (there is on the psp)
I have played the USA version which is cut to bits, the death scene's....which lets be honest is what this game is all about have been blurred beyond belief, and with the camera shaking all over the place you can't tell what move your doing on the victim.
You are suppose to have 3 levels of death kill depending on how long your hold down your kill button, but each move has been censored in such a way that you can't see whats happening, so the 3 different kill move's can't be seen......no point really.

It makes me laugh that they censor games like this, and yet let films like Saw, Hills Have Eyes, Hostel, Captivity ect ect see the light of day

They have removed the main aspect of this game and it is now a completely pointless game to play,

actually its not still banned as it has been in the news lately that it has been allowed for sale in the uk now which is how i ended up coming across this deal and the £5 off makes it a deal and less of news.

The game is seriously cack anyway, overhyped and totally pointless.

Have to disagree with you there, the Wii has about 5-6 great titles under it's belt, if that.

me too don't know about a huge amount of great wii titles out although the first ones that did were bl**dy good fun!

I think it's still a good deal as many people have been waiting for this for a long time and it IS actually getting released now and there ARE uncut versions around just depends on which country the game was originally for. If you buy it originally intended for france or holland then it will be uncut I believe as they are allowed the uncut product!
