It's a hot deal but tbh I wouldn't fly with Ryanair for free.

For anyone working in the Travel and Tourism sector, Ryanair are notorious for bad customer service, bad bad bad reputation.
They charge extra for everything - which for this price you can't really complain.
Even though EasyJet are another low-cost airline I would rather travel with them - have never had a bad experience with them.

Ryanair are vile, with their extra charges, hideous yellow dayglow seats, nauseating in-flight piped adverts, etc... but they are often the cheapest option so if you're on a budget why cut off your nose to spite your face?

They class Girona as Barcelona from Newcastle,we have to put up with queasyjet & their even more expensive competitor vueling, wish Newcastle was a proper airport

Agree. Newcastle airport seems to be falling behind airports such as Birmingham, Edinburgh & others. Shame.

What extra charges??
Travel insurance? Get your own beforehand.
Priority boarding? You have a reserved seat, just get on with everyone else and lo - your seat will still be there.
Boarding pass fee? Print your own before you leave!
Excess baggage fee? Weigh your bags before you leave and make sure they are size and weigh you paid for.
Expensive food on the flight? Buy a fuggin sandwich before you get on the plane.

There are no "extra fees" unless you have not done your homework, which is entirely your own fault. Don't blame Ryanair if you turn up with a bag that's too heavy/large!

People whining about paying less than a tenner for a flight from UK to Spain - stay at home!

Flew Ryanair for the first time earlier this year, don't understand the negativity. You want better just pay more, seems simple enough.

Regularly fly to Spain. Fortunate that my local airport give the option of Ryanair of Easyjet.
I book on the best price that comes up.

Ryanair staff had a very bad attitude a few years ago but recently, I don't notice any difference between the airlines now.

Last month my the handle on my hold luggage got damaged in transit on arrival in Malaga. Went to the Ryanair desk to inform them. They gave me a brand new 4 wheeled suitcase to replace the damaged one. No quibble.

It comes down to the attitude of the staff and your preferences. I have never paid for any extras with Easyjet or Ryanair. My partner and I always end up with seats together without paying extra.

I suppose we are just very laid back. We always aim to be the last to board the flight. Tickles me when people queue for 25mins to get on board when all the seats are reserved

EasyJet are far, far worse than Ryanair. Heat added.

Flown with Ryanair 3 times now, never had a bad experience. In fact on the way back from Malaga they didn't have a problem with me returning with hold luggage 2kg over the limit.

I love Ryanair. If you want better then go with a more expensive airline. People moaning about the food. Buy some beforehand or just wait until you land. If you can't go a few hours without a bit of food then something's wrong. As for legroom, there's plenty. I'm not the tallest person but there's seats with extra legroom available so just do your homework.

£ to Euro pretty bad, no point

Nothjng wrong with Ryanair nor Easyjet, I know what to expect from them and for the short time I spend on the plane the price they charge is very good. As mentioned if you buy food and a drink before you board you wont need to buy in flight. Some people are picky but thats them.

I was in Barcelona last weekend and I paid £120 return with Vueling & Ryanair! Don't understand what the negative feedback is with Ryanair... I would definitely fly with them again
