Great price - Hot from me

The antennas really do work a treat.
I had to get the MCX connector one at £9.99. In my megane the sat nav wouldn't work without it.
If you have an MMCX connector, then this is a bargain - voted hot.

Fair enough so any site having a sale or clearance and one highlights an individual item there will be no need to include P+P in the title Clarification is always good:thumbsup:

I have one of these and with my Tomtom 910 it locks on the satellites indoors:-D

Does anyone know if this antenna will work with a small DVB digital pocket television?
#9
sorry a stupid question, is this something we can use with Tomtom or Garmin to receive better signal? and pick up the fix quickly?
#10
I doubt if this is worth £20 as you can buy similar GPS Antenna from Ebay for £5 + P&P.

my opinion
....i think the title should only read 'Maplin Clearance' or similar
the pic prob should just be the maplin logo.

then within the post you could put the details of the antenna and any other deals highlighting that they are +delivery (as you have done).
just my 2p's worth!

No - that's like asking if a lorry tyre will fit on a car wheel.
#14
Would this work for better signal for an Nokia N95? Or would it need to be bluetooth for that?
#15
Cheaper on ebay.

This should help with connection identification. TomToms generally have an MCX connector for their external antenna.

will do phil...

that picture is really helpful cibarious... the garmin nuvi 300 and the tom tom one v1 both use the mmcx from the above picture, its the smaller type one....

Sorry to sound dense but how are these mounted, just taped to the dash and then routed via cable?
#26
Plugged into the back of the satnav and run up onto the external roof of the car or to somewhere inside the car where there is a good signal. They are waterproof and magnetic.

Most folks, I think, use them to get around the problems caused by metallised windscreens as those sorts of windscreen kill the GPS satellite signals.
