This any better than any other webcam out there Tony? Need to get one for my mum but haven't bought one for years so don't really know what to look out for. I used to look out for 640x480 @ 30 frames/sec. I assume this can do that? 1.3 megapixels must be for still shots?

Top two are £15 delivered and the bottom one is £12.55 delivered if you buy something for £2.50 to go with it. Are these any good? I have Amazon vouchers so would be my preferred place to buy one from.

I'm guessing it's the cheaper end of the range obviously Benji but it has good functions. Unless you're going to spend loads I think it would do the job but I can't recommend as I don't have one of these.

I use a Philips one which was about £40 before it was reduced.

Like I write the reason I posted it was because of the functions. Only downside of this one I can see is where you would postion it. Mine sits on top of the monitor, very convenient, this one would have to go on a flat surface it looks like.

EDIT THIS ONE DOES SIT ON MONITOR. SEE IMAGES ABOVE.

If I can find out more I'll post it.

I know its good value but the basic looks are not for me.

Yes that's the one I would pick out of the three although I don't think it beats the Maplins one. Have you had a look on Play.com ?

Did you look at the Genius site ? especially on the tabs for specs etc ?

Not had a look at Play, I'll get it from Amazon as I have vouchers and I prefer the look of the one I posted.

If it wasn't for the vouchers I would go for the maplin one, this is for their lounge though so looks are important. If it was for the study then the Maplin one would be fine.

Voted hot!

Thanks for the help.
