Small, compact and economical design
Easy to install and use - everything included!
Also ideal for use in tents
Waterproof designed solar panel
Fitted with a 4W 150mm tube
Spare tubes available, Order Code JX45Y

You no longer need to root around in the shed or tent when the sunlight has faded. The 4W bulb provides ample light to enable you to see what youre doing and is powered by three Ni-MH batteries. 14 hours of exposure to sunlight should provide enough power for the light to work for around 45 minutes, although this is variable depending on lighting conditions. The panel measures just 165mm (w) x 115mm (h) and is just 10mm thick. The cable that runs from the solar panel to the light unit is approximately 1.5 metres in length. The light is fixed to the desired location with two screws (fittings included) and uses a pull-cord for on/off operation that is approximately 285mm in length. The light enclosure measures 180mm (l) x 62mm (w) x 47mm (h). Supplied with 3 x AA 600mAh NiMH batteries.

link goes to the homepage:S
I bought one of these last year. It's quite good, not very bright but gives off enough light to find things in the shed by.
Delivery cost should be included in the deal price?? (£3 if this is all you buy)

Do Maplin's offer a collect at store option?
you can call the store and ask to reserve items.
sometimes this is easier said than done...

Been looking at one of these for my daughters playhouse!

I think they have a "buy at store" option. :whistling:
A working link?

Edit: Hmm it seems that jammiev's link didn't work for me until I actually visited the maplin site through
Forgive my flippancy, but when I saw the Maplins title I was convinced it was a Hi-De-Hi related offer.
I have this light and it's pretty good:-

I guess what I was getting at is do they offer the same deal 'buy at store'. Alot of places do not.
