Great albums at a fantastic price.
Clutching at Straws is brilliant. That is the only Marillion album I have. At this price I might give some others a go. Any recommendations? Thanks Wedgie.
The very first one, Script for a Jester's Tear is brilliant. Try Seasons End too. It has Steve Hogarth as the new lead singer. Different sound but great as well.
My partner was mentioning Seasons End the other day - cheers for that . Good Old Christmas present coming his way.

I think Marillion were better with fish though.
I think H is a bit weedy.

Janner 66. Script from a Jesters Tear is fantastic. It has one of the greatest endings to an album ever with "Forgotten Sons".
Well worth it.
Fugazi is also brilliant, but not sure if it's amongst these offers.
All excellent albums, my fav has to be Clutching at Straws, the soundtrack of my teenage years.
Thanks for that, just ordered 'Script for a Jesters tear'

Misplaced Childhood is a good album, got that FOC from the Daily Mail a while back, looking forward to hearing some music with content again!

If you liked Clutching at Straws then Misplaced Childhood is a must for you.

Script for a Jesters Tear and Fugazi were their first 2 albums and IMO their best ones...suppose for £3 you can't really go wrong.
Clutching at straws was £6.99 for me.
Misplaced Childhood is a classic. From start to finish it is top quality stuff.
Seasons end - Superb album. I like the others but this one gets into my top 5 of all time.

You can also pick up one of my fave H era albums "This Strange Engine" for £2.99 at Play.
I think this offer is close to expiry. All the 2.99s have gone. BUT...

Misplaced Childhood is £3 at Amazon

Script for a Jesters Tear is £5 at Asda
My favourites are Script and Misplaced Childhood - both superb albums.

Season's End is certainly worth a mention, but a different sound to the group. More soft rock rather than the prog rock of the earlier albums.
Thanks for that, just ordered 'Script for a Jesters tear'

You wont regret it, best album they ever did or will do, in fact one of the best albums ever IMHO.

Ive just got the boxset of live performances from this era, wish I was old enough to have seen them in their day. Also they did an epic track around this time called 'Grendel' - try and get hold of that if you can, sheer bliss.
genesis/yes tribute band

You haven't listened to them in 20 years obviously.
genesis/yes tribute band

Nothing of the type!

All their own work with the odd cover at conventions eg the great cover of Toxic at Holland 2007

Drop you in that crater on the moon!

Their roots perhaps, but evolved into something very special.

Got to agree with Burlo about "Forgotten Sons"
