Mario Kart Wii comes bundled with a new and intuitive accessory - the Wii Wheel, which makes it one of the most accessible Mario Kart games to date and allows complete novices to compete with ease and comfort, ensuring no one is left in the dust. For those more familiar to Mario Kart and who are now afraid of getting smoked by their newcomer grandparents using the Wii Wheel, rest assured, Nintendo has you covered! Mario Kart Wii supports five different control options: Wii Wheel, Wii Remote turned on its side, Wii Remote and Nunchuk combination, Classic Controller and even Nintendo GameCube controller. So there's bound to be a configuration that fits everyone's experience, level and style.

Do these Mario Kart boxes fit through letterboxes?
#4
It depends on your letterbox but if its like mine then it will not fit as the box is far too large.

Also excellent deal! :)
#5
Still £27.97 at sainsburys if you have one close by.

im led to believe that you can buy the game on its own or game and wheel together but this option has been the cheaper option or can buy additional wheels for about a tenner,
#19
you only get it with the wheel
#20
£28.50 after quidco!

DO NOT PLAY online if you have any kind of anger issues. I swear to god if one more12 year old Japanese kid fires a Blue shell at me as I approach the finish line I'm gonna re-invade Thailand.

£60!!! blimey.

i would have thought within 3 months mario kart will be quite cheap second hand as pretty much everyone will have purchased it.

i have it, great game, not played online yet but have gold on all but 2 of the mirror cups.

it had taken over my life, luckily i have broken free from its spell for now.

good price also:thumbsup:

Have you seen the Wii Zappers on Ebay? They sell like hot cakes and they've been out for about 5 months.

Yup, I remember buying Wii Super Mario Galaxy on a pre-order for the kids from The Hut around the end of Oct/beg Nov. With a code that was around at the time and Quidco still being honoured despite it, I ended up paying just over £23.00. I'm sure the game still goes on eBay for around that now.

wouldn't invading Japan be a better idea?

Know what you mean though - so many times I've been in the lead or close to it only to be zapped/bumped/shelled off the course usually on that bloody mine track, so I go off completely...

I ordered this before it was posted on here and thought it was a good deal, just didn't have time to put it up. Considering most places are either out of stock or more expensive I’m not sure how any can think its not a deal.

To answer peoples questions:

1. This does come with the wheel, as far as I know all copies of it come with 1 official wheel.

2. Its very unlikely it will fit through your letter box unless you have some weirdly huge door :p
Mine was delivered by parcel force.

Haven't ordered from choices before but I was very impressed I ordered very late Wednesday night/ early Thursday morning, dispatched Thursday, arrived Friday morning. Can't complain at that.

was desperate for one last weekend so had to pay toysrus £35 with a second steering wheel

was worth it for the peace

tried sainsburys but staff were thick and got the vague look when asked if they had games for the nintendo wii games console

could see ps3 and xbox but not wii

asda was a 10 mile extra trip toysrus was across the road

tesco were £33 according too my neighbour witht he 1 wheel

cant comment on asda

this could be the cheapest youll find it

at the same time most need a second wheel so if passing toys rus id grab it there even tho the second wheel isnt anywhere near as nice as the official one...

I woulnd't exactly say most need a second wheel, personally if I could have got it a few quid cheaper with no wheel I would have. Gamecube pad is the best to play this with in my opinion, although I haven't tried the wiimote and nunchuck combination much. The wheel is ok and probably good for a laugh or for kids but the gamecube pad is much easier to use.

Can you use the wheel that you get in the accessory pack for Wii sports as a second wheel?

You would have to be more specific, as Nintendo haven't released a wheel before.

The Wii wheel has a cut out for the bluetooth sender, and a trigger for the "B" button.
As long as yours has that, it will be fine.
#37
You can just use the wiimote on its own with out a wheel if you want, its almost the same thing, kinda like when you play the cow racing game on wiiplay.
