I'm pretty sure you don't need the games description pasted on here.

The simple fact is its a great game at a great price, made a lot of 2014 games of the year lists.

Enjoy.

In Mario Kart 8 they unlock costumes for you Mii racer. Fun, but not essential.

You will get months of entertainment for the money though so it actually works out cheap, don't forget to buy the DLC packs because they rock!

utter tosh
this is the best use of £34 i can think of, when thinking of what you'll get back for the small amount it costs. this time next year, most of us will still be playing this. very few games have that kind of lasting appeal.

Good price for a great game. So much for the posts saying that the game would be sub -£20 after Christmas!

Nintendo games hold their value well, I'm afraid you just need to deal with that. I've given heat just because I'm still loving it (bought it on pre-order). The Zelda DLC is awesome, absolutely love it. Defo my game of the year.

I know all too well that Nintendo games hold their value! :)
I was just referencing sone of the "under £20 after Christmas" posts that were appearing a couple of weeks ago. This price is great for such an awesome game, and you'll be very, very lucky to find a national price of sub-£28 for this. :D

This isn't a deal though. Good game aside, this has been amazons price for a good while.

Ordered it for £35 on amazon, was just in time to cancel it and rebuy for £33.85, thanks, heat added.

Mario Kart 8 - 30hrs (after its launch)
DLC #1 - 20hrs (somewhat recently)

So for me it's only consumed 50hrs in total which isn't bad but due to the lack of more content to feel the game feel fresh I've not touched it because it's gotten to the point it became boring and repetitive.

Great while it lasts, gameplay, graphics and music are all fantastic but even with the DLC 1 it's not enough to keep me playing it.

Anyway, Captain Toad's awesome! :3

Just shows, you don't need to be an 18 rated FPS with decapitations, disembowelment and buckets of gore, to be taken seriously as a game. Have sunk more hours into this (and MK Wii) than any other game. £34 is a steal.

For the price. This is a steal. Amazing game and Nintendo games never really drop in price. They just got out of print and price increases on eBay.

This is the best Mario Kart game since Mario Kart 64. Great at any price.

Mario Kart 8 > Double Dash > You choose

MK Wii had such unfair bots that I gave up playing the game.

GotY at Eurogamer.

Anyone who says this game is repetitive... it's a racing game. Every race has 3 laps. You're doing the same thing 3 times over each time as it is. Repetition is the point.

Mount Wario and Rainbow Road (N64)?
