Thanks for heads up, quite often get the biggest roast chicken they have as weights vary. Worth around 7 quid on their own.

I suspect the steak will sell out quickly. I suspect some stores will not have any or very little.

I bought a chicken from them last week reduced from £6 to £2.80 - it was in a bag but when I cut open the bag it was in another bag.

But it was tiny - no where worth near the original £6 - and I thought it would last for 2 days but it lasted just one meal.

Look on the bright side they only charged you for one bag

You have to be careful what you choose with this deal, many of the sides can be made at home cheaper and very easily, but being careful and selective a really good deal for a tenner can be had, especially with the wine involved.

Campylobacter is a fuss over nothing. Always been there.
It's not hard to cook a chicken properly and eliminate it, and all the other germs that are in/on the chicken.

Definitely agree. They used to do a puff pastry feta parcel thing that was delicious and made the deal worth it for me as a veggie. The recent offerings of pasta melt or tomato bake are pretty budget options imo so I wait til its a decent main and then all the other bits make it a worthwhile deal you're right

Am I the only who finds this a cheaper way of having a one man feast...?
