I don't think that people that wear DJ's ever use the phrase 'omfg'!!
They are mutually exclusive.

I wish I could mark that as hot, what a fantastic retort!

As for the DJ, worth a looks I think, m&S normally does reasonable stuff.

And machine washable, too!!

I'd buy one. If I only got chances to go to places where these were worn!

The title says "Marks & Spencers Eveningwear Dinner Jacket" nothing about the trousers... a tad missleading but not incorrect. Maybe the picture should be replaced?

In mad rush for a last minute dinner suit for new years, I grabbed both this one and the one from Matalan for the same price, and was just going to keep the one I prefered. I also grabbed the shirt and bow tie combo which was an extra fiver from Matalan.

I can honestly say the Matalan suit won hands down, which I wasn't expecting, and the cut was great, so much so people thought Id had it tailored!

Okay these suits are mostly polyester, so theres a danger of balloons gravitating towards you at a party, and electrocuting other people when moonwalking on the dancefloor, but hey-ho these are good VFM.

but isnt a dj jacket on its own defeating to whole object of a dj - will look **** with a mismatching pair of trousers - so title should say dj for 49.50

I had a look at this earlier today and thought it was quite a good price, better than Matalan or Asda. The trousers that are advertised with it don't appear to be formal wear trousers (as the ones with the satin/shiny material on the sides), just regular trousers it seems. EDIT: Actually it appears to have a slight beading down the leg, but that's it.

I think the nice thing about the M&S jacket is that it comes in a size that would fit nicely on me (36 medium). Most of the time sizes start at 38 which is a bit too big for me. It's hard being me.

Lol, spot on.

A DJ, trousers and shirt costs around £50 to hire and you have the hassle of trekking to/from the hire shop. These things never go out of fashion and even if you only use it once / twice a year it pays for itself. Voted HOT:thumbsup:

I'm new to this formal dinner thing, so I didn't know that there is a matching trousers for this jacket. I just wore my black trousers with this dj last month in a formal and no one seems to notice, so I guess i was alright.

i think it's definitely much better than hiring one. =)

Bought one in store yesterday - better hurry as stock is running low.
The jacket and trousers are definately not shiny, as stated in an earlier post.
