Marks Electrical would have an order for 2 Play 5s... if they offered the black versions at this price. Think I'll wait it out for other offers rather than go for white. Could be a long wait but you never know at this time of year!

really good deal. we had the same problem, washing machine packed in just this week, and I just managed to order a ecobubble for 345 (-£7 quidco) . just arrived half hour ago.
you've got a really good price for the addwash though
mine too! The frisge freezer a month ago and the Dyson :(

I would get a vax if you haven't already replaced it? I seen some decent ones that are half the price of a dyson.. I think although Dyson hasn't lost too much quality, they are still overcharging for technology that is already out there now, and flimsier parts compared to 10 years ago

Good price and warranty. If it only lasts two years it has only cost you about a quid per week.
Very good price, warranty and A++ efficiency. Capacity and spin speed is a neg, either washing most days or kick out a few house members. At this price the guts inside probably won't be the best but if this dies after 2yrs you will have had your moneys worth.

AO is same price with £40 off so £390.
Good price, but the add feature will be totally useless for us as with 7 year old twins we always make sure there is a full load and anything left over will go in the next load later that day/the next day as its a never ending cycle. :D

Perhaps expired? Put it in the basked, went to checkout... still £739.
See post 3 above, which deserves its own post as a separate deal! Still £637.63 and John Lewis should match it because it meets all the Never Knowingly Undersold T&C.
Inevitably, though, they'll never lower their own price from £849 even though they know they're being undersold, but you may well be able to persuade them to match it on an individual basis.
Thanks! that'll teach me to skim the comments.

Great price. Other than the colour and the fact this has the superior telescopic tube, this looks pretty much identical in shape to my S2100 which, apart from the somewhat rigid hose, is an excellent machine.

To all downvoting and saying this TV is not worth the money. This website is about finding a good deal, no one comes here looking for your opinions on which TV to buy.
IF RIGHT NOW YOU ARE LOOKING TO BUY 55JS9000, THIS IS A GOOD PRICE FOR IT.
If you don't think it's worth your money because the 8000 is just as good then find a good deal for the 8000 and post on the website.

I actually bought this tv from John Lewis 3 weeks ago for 1800 but then 100 back for price match against the co-op then a further 150 back for trading in an old tv so 1550 with 5 years of peace of mind, this is a brilliant tv and the 4k picture is out of this world.

Can you get the trade-in AND the pricematch?

Pretty cheap with two years warranty on top of triple A energy rating but probably not worth the hassle should it break down/leak (which it most likely will as Gorenje use cheap parts). If that's not an issue for you (disposal and installation of new machine) then this is a good deal.

I had a gorenje few ago lasted long.would defo recommend them.
I was told back them bosch had made them.
I know a few users of Gorenje. Their washing machines break down too often for my liking but I guess it's down to luck. I have a Hotpoint WM and it has caused a lot of problems so even the more known brands in the UK are suspectible to poor quality control. Just better in the long run to get large appliances with extended warranty these days.

In my oppinion hotpot are rubbish not how they used to be. But agree like u said it's down to luck and best to take extra warranty.
Balls, no longer available... Would've been most handy!

My wife talked to an engineer who came out to one of our washing machines in the past and he said washing machines insides are all the same and usually last the same time. With the expensive brands you pay for the name and all the programs on them that no one uses.... get a machine with a decent spin cycle 1200, 1400 and you will be fine
I would get another engineer yours is obviously useless what he told you is absolute rubbish he couldn't be more wrong if he tried.
I agree, absolute tosh
I don't know I am no expert but we have had cheap washing machines for years now and if they go wrong (which they don't any more than the branded) its a lot less painful on the pocket.
You can keep your street cred I'll keep my money
If you've had cheap for years then how do you know they last longer than branded? Your sample size of one is not proof of anything.

I never said lasted longer I said they last the same (sometimes longer) but I have had branded ones in the past and they are like for like.....

I bought this exact same tv last week from John Lewis, and it's great. They price matched Hughes Electrical so I paid £649, with 5 year guarantee. I saw this at the time but JL wouldn't price match Marks. Definitely a bargain but I prefered to pay the extra £50 and buy from JL -
Can someone expire the deal please? Its still £649. Or amend the price?

John Lewis have agreed to price match.
What price did you get? JL quoted me £649 price match even though I submitted requested when it was £599.99, very annoying.

even if that were the case, all the LG OLED's still have the low light issues
Sorry I don't know of a low light issue?
on the EF950 and all other models there is banding and what is called vignetting on dark scenes (left and right hand side of the screen is wrongly black in places and darker in others, commonly called dark blobs)
I'd advise you don't go looking for it but if you do, search for '5,4,3 and 2% IRE slides oled problems
on this model the 930V there is digital noise reduction that cannot be turned off (see the review at hdtvtest.co.uk for proof). I think if you got a really, really, really brilliant panel then things WOULD look great
I'm tempted to try a 930V as to be honest it's the model that people least complain about so may have the least issues, rather than getting a JS8500
Ok I'm with you and yes my research did reveal this but I can honestly say the 930 is the best picture I have ever come across. I have owned a number of sets in my time and a number of projectors all of which I have pain painstakingly calibrated but none of them come close to the imaged produced by the 930 (you can not buy an absolutely perfect TV set they all have flaws)
But if you can afford it and have the room get one of these the 3d (which I wrote off years ago) is also excellent
many have said that about the 930V and I might just give it a shot, marks electrical have put theirs up in price but sonic direct have it for £1249.99 delivered with 5YW
I'm going to go with my gut and try the 930V OLED, I'll let you know how it performs
Hi mate, did you get a 930v? If u dont mind me asking why go for the 930 over the 910 other than price? I thought the 910 was supposed to be an improvement?
the 910 is an improvement on specs with it's 10 bit panel but it apparently does not have 10 bit processing (explains why the DCI-P3 colour % is identicial for the two sets). The 930V is 10% brighter than the 910 but on this occassion it's just about price really
anyway I went to order it and was out of stock at sonic, then same at marks electrical so decided to go for the 920V 4K version - it's the closest to the UHDA premium spec at 446 nits peak brightness (can actually go brighter in the right conditions I believe)
Thanks.
Is it likely LG will enable 10bit processing via update at some point? How are you finding the 920 - is it a keeper?
Thanks
hi, almost zero chance of LG doing that but I hope they do for people who paid a lot of money who were told it had a 10 bit panel (anyone would obviously assume 10 bit processing a given). The 920 had two huge yellow horizontal bands (both 1/5th of the tv each) middle and bottom. HDR didn't add anything compared with my PS4's 1080p feed. Vignetting and low light banding was poor - completely spoilt THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
when these OLED's are good they're incredible but until they fix these problems I'll be owning a a FALD LCD. Good luck, the Hisense K720 is on sale @ Amazon for £999 the 65" and is THE best price to performance tv available
now, early reports from David Mackenzie who has calibrated the Sig' G6 2016 flagship are that uniformity is no longer a problem and for the first time he would have no problem recommending them - it's NOT eradicated but practically gone apparently so if you have a 2015 OLED get that thing sold now. We don't yet know about vignetting/low light banding people have asked but there hasn't been a clear reply yet for some reason
good luck[/quote]

Thanks

The panasonic 55cx700 (va lcd panel) uhd looks good
For £800 , seen it in pc world, picture looked very contrasty.
to be honest until you take a tv home and try it in a dimly lit room, you will never know if you will like it.
in a brightly lit showroom, all the tvs are turned to maximum brightness and look good.

the hdtvtest review revealed very very good blacks for an LCD and it does have a high contrast ratio but if you're willing to spend or save more and don't want 1080p OLED then the JS8000 can be had for £1349 and has HDR and does full hd 3d which the panny doesn't

even if that were the case, all the LG OLED's still have the low light issues

What makes you think it is so good?
I found LG TV's are one of the worst in the market...
I have a cheap LG TV I bought 7 years ago ish for about £400. It still runs perfectly fine. LG has never done me wrong. Plus, I love the Web OS.
I agree, but thats an older ones; my parents have one bought 2004 and still running well..
New ones are not the same. We have changed 4 LG tv's at workplace in one year,so now Panasonic is down there and far superior to LG.
Panasonic use LG panels, as do other big manufacturers.http://www.oled-info.com/tags/companies/panasonic
So what? LG TV's aren't same as Panasonic.
Would never ever buy LG as workmanship quality also matters.
Come back after few more months and talk then....good luck!

It's just a telly mate. Grow up.
Had one of these for over 12 months and paid a lot more than this for it. Been worth every penny it is superb!
Ignorance is bliss isn't it?
Temperature of this deal says it all.....

Have you watched Kill Bill? Are you familier with the Hattori Hanzo sword?

To paraphrase; "When you compare an LG OLED TV, you compare it to every other TV that is not an LG OLED TV"

They are currently in a class of their own.
