If you live in extremely hard water areas, then washing machines become disposable, in spite of calgon and the like. They all seem to be cold feeds, no hot water input. I'd never spend more than 200 notes on one even if they come with p&l guarantees. Companys will try to wriggle out of liability, particularly if it's down to limescale.
Ebac now do a range of hot fill machines. Details here
Made in County Durham too - and some with a 10 year part/labour warranty. Thanks - another option.

£500 here with a 10 year warranty
The 'instant door unlock' has got me sold on the Ebac. My pet hate waiting for the door to unlock at the end of the cycle. No idea why machines do that!

Fair point - and the answer's a water softener. Can't understand why they aren't more popular, given how cheap they are to buy now, and run, and the benefits and savings they bring.

Can recommend Haier and this is certainly cheap but a max 1000rpm spin will leave your clothes very wet
That spin speed is appalling,I'd avoid for that alone.
Ours is 1000rpm and the clothes do stay wet but my cousin bought it for us as a housewarming present
More time and money to dry them in the Winter though,so it's a false economy sadly.
What makes you think spinning faster doesn't cost your more money?
Even if it does, why would you want soaking wet clothes in the Winter that you will have to dry in a Tumble Dryer or on radiators, surely if you have a choice it's best to opt for one with a higher spin speed.
If you're spending more money on drying clothes or a higher spin speed I know which one I'd choose.
Go do more research then you'll know increase the spinning speed from 1000 to 1200, 1300 or even 1400 rpm the difference is negligible. Only jump to 1800 rpm you'll have a noticeable change. However high spinning washing machine is in the first place cost more and for lots of people who are after budget washing machine a cheap one like this is perfect for the needs, which is the point of this post and this site. Stop dumping "this is rubbish l, spend a million pound more to get a better one" kind of BS here and vote based on the value of the posted product itself!
This site is also about user experience,I know from experience that lower spin speeds leave the washing absolutely sodden and they take longer to dry,why are you being rude and aggressive?
No nobody cares your experience here there are loads loads of review sites out there! This site is for opinions if spending a particular amount of money on a particular product is a deal or not. Of course obviously apparently there are defo always better products exist BUT HOWEVER you need to spend more money, which is not a deal! If you have found a wash machine spinning like a million rpm and cost less than other similar products then please post it. Otherwise people interested in the products are not interested your "experience" of what better choices are out there.

I gather from your comments you're a clueless Male with no actual experience of low spin speed machines,I'll leave you to it,good day to you.

After all the vote count tells all. You keep thinking people cares your experience or how helpful your experience is.... lol

Just a word of warning to anyone thinking of buying any dishwasher at the moment. do make sure you look at it 'in the flesh' first to make sure it's well designed and meets your needs. I recently bought a Kenwood machine from Currys online because it was cheap and foolishly didn't look at one instore. Once I came to use it I found that the detergent dispenser was positioned too low in the door and could be prevented from opening if large items were positioned in front of it, the cutlery basket was positioned to the rear of the bottom basket making it slightly awkward to use and the prongs of the dividers of the upper basket were too short allowing items to fall over.
I've no idea if this Hotpoint machine is better designed but it really is important to have a proper look before buying, hopefully it is a genuine bargain.

I noticed how low the dispensers were in all the Kenwood branded machines when I was looking at the dishwashers in currys on saturday, it did seem rather daft design, both from the likelihood of it being obstructed and its slightly more awkward position when filling up. My first dishwasher had a similar sort of pop up flap dispenser, but it was located level with the upper basket.

We've unfortunately got a Currys' Kenwood microwave, that features a timer that requires more unnecessary button pressing and knob twiddling than a copy of windows 10 to set, and even cuts the microwave emission 15 seconds before the time set is up and has a light so dull that the room has to be blacked out to see anything inside.

Also check on hotpoint beko and indesit models that there isn't an existing recall outstanding on them

Which rated this dishwasher poorly, due to noise and watermarks.
Cheaper machines from Zanussi, Beko, Hotpoint and Bosch rated higher. £449 gets you a cheapo Miele. I'd rather have a top-end Bosch.
Not sure where you get all that from. It actually says this:
Excellent cleaning, good drying, energy efficient, but the key weakness is watermarks. It’s not a noisy dishwasher, either – there are noticeable noises during both the filling and washing phases, but these aren’t irritating or intrusive.
As I mentioned earlier in the thread the 4920, 4920BK and 4920SC appear to have different specs and the Which review quoted is for the 4920 which has a cutlery tray, whereas the 4920BK just has the basket.
It appears that the BK models are cheaper version of the same numbered models.

BK must stand for budget Krapp then eh

And the point of this deal is there's no such thing as a cheapo Miele which is why this is a good deal as it's almost sensible money for once

Get a 2 year warranty Bosch then with extra features over their cheap ones that get reviewed the same as the expensive ones. Spend the extra to get the same quality as a cheap Bosch.

Or get a siemens for £479 with a 5 year warranty which is the same machine anyway as they're identical products

Alternatively get a hotpoint or beko and buy a fire extinguisher with it in preparation!

Buy a zanussi which is now a faded brand unfortunately. Used to be awesome in the 80's and 90's but now are all about profit and living off reputation.

Miele are a pretty much guaranteed safe buy for longevity and quality. Might not be the prettiest but will always last

With some chasing it's being delivered tomorrow. I ordered it on 30th or 31st ... can't quite remember.
Not great and also had an email from them that had a slight 'tone' to it also.
I actually wasn't that desperate for it but had heard nothing at all ...
Related I tweeted Miele to ask when they were getting some stock. They didn't bother replying.
Anyone who ordered this taken delivery of one yet? Ordered mine on 1st January
Ordered mine from Mark's electrical

John Lewis lost out in the end as I just won't bother asking next time
I suppose I should have expected them to use any excuse not to reduce the price

Thanks OP we were looking to replace our ancient zanussi and the Wife is a big Miele fan

Great deal was the same on co op electrical but now out of stock there
Asked John Lewis to price match but they refused saying that they could deliver in 7 days and Marks electrical will take 8 to 14 days, like I'm in that much of a rush!
Just shows how useless the John Lewis price promise is!!
Hmm, John Lewis did price match for me, delivering on Friday.

Marks Electrical would have an order for 2 Play 5s... if they offered the black versions at this price. Think I'll wait it out for other offers rather than go for white. Could be a long wait but you never know at this time of year!

really good deal. we had the same problem, washing machine packed in just this week, and I just managed to order a ecobubble for 345 (-£7 quidco) . just arrived half hour ago.
you've got a really good price for the addwash though
mine too! The frisge freezer a month ago and the Dyson :(

I would get a vax if you haven't already replaced it? I seen some decent ones that are half the price of a dyson.. I think although Dyson hasn't lost too much quality, they are still overcharging for technology that is already out there now, and flimsier parts compared to 10 years ago

I have a Haier wine cabinet and the look and quality is excellent.
This brand gets a good rep in China and elsewhere. Seems almost illegally cheap, well as least those moaning about globalisation can see you can afford a washing machine on burger flipper/barista wages.
dealcatcherer
German name, might be a diesel, beware!... X) A++ must be achieved due to its low power consumption due to 5k load and 1000rpm, ideal if you have a small flat no kids. don't know the brand, anyone got feedback?

Never seen one this cheap !!
My Bosch spins at 1400 but I only ever spin at 1000 as you get much longer out if your machine. This is a bargain with a 2 year warranty.

AO is same price with £40 off so £390.
Good price, but the add feature will be totally useless for us as with 7 year old twins we always make sure there is a full load and anything left over will go in the next load later that day/the next day as its a never ending cycle. :D

See post 3 above, which deserves its own post as a separate deal! Still £637.63 and John Lewis should match it because it meets all the Never Knowingly Undersold T&C.
Inevitably, though, they'll never lower their own price from £849 even though they know they're being undersold, but you may well be able to persuade them to match it on an individual basis.
Thanks! that'll teach me to skim the comments.
No problem - do try your luck with John Lewis. ;)

A grand for a washer..... More money than sense some people..
It's a washer dryer. And a cavernous one (12kg wash / 8Kg dry) for that matter.

It's still expensive....

Some may consider this vintage - its last years model but its predecessor the h6400 is £650 at best currently - so, the post is valid and commands heat.
Can you guys recommend a 55" TV sub £520?
You must be living in stone age. Must be old stock. Will have vintage value very soon.

Looks like it's finished at that price, there is still one at £78.
Says discontinued
The cables are so short on some of these, however the best one (we got one around two months ago) is the C3 Extreme, there are better features on it and it is only another £50.

Great price. Other than the colour and the fact this has the superior telescopic tube, this looks pretty much identical in shape to my S2100 which, apart from the somewhat rigid hose, is an excellent machine.
